• Beautiful American log home built from solid pine logs to a high quality finish and unusual hexagonal design.
• Single cabin in a unique, secluded woodland setting, enjoying uninterrupted views across the Solway Firth to the Lake District
• Four stars with Visit Scotland
• Part of a working beef farm.
• Diverse activities and attractions in the immediate vicinity.
• Enjoy a holiday in what is often called the Riviera of Scotland.
• Ideal for holidays all year round.

The log cabin is spacious and unique.
The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and a dining table for 6. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and sink, with plenty of space for boots, wet coats, golf bags etc.

The great room has a commanding view, comfortable sofas, digital TV, DVD Player, books and radio with stereo CD. Patio

The lodge has a private garden with barbecue facilities.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and an en-suite shower room.
There are two further twin bedded rooms and a large bathroom.

All rooms are tastefully appointed and characterful.
The log cabin is itself very warm and cosy with central heating available.

Beautiful but overlooked,Dumfries and Galloway is a forgotten corner of Scotland offering stunning scenery, a slower pace of life and welcoming locals. And its all less than one hour from the M74 at Gretna Green.

Sightseeing. Nearby is the charming Food Town of Castle Douglas, the artist's town of Kircudbright, National Trust Threave Gardens, Robert Burns' home town of Dumfries and a host of other historic sights and castles.

Sandyhills

Walking on lovely coastal walks nearby, on the farm and in the forest. See the rich variety of wildlife here; bluebells in spring and heather clad hills in autumn. Golf locally,Mountain Biking in the nearby Dalbeattie Forest. Beaches at Sandyhills (1 mile). RSPB reserve at Mersehead (2 miles).
