Detached Victorian property set within its own grounds, offering spacious one and two bedroom four star graded self catering accommodation. These charming apartments offer comfort combined with cleaniness to ensure you have a most enjoyable stay. Ample parking, guest garden, free WiFi, within easy walking to all the amentites Sandown has to offer and is a prefect base to explore the island. Apartment 5 is an upside down apartment which has lovely views over Sandown Bay stretching from Culver Downs and Yaverland across to Shanklin. Whether you are coming by car or public transport Parterre is ideally situated to use local buses or the island train as well as taking many of the walks around the island.

Towels are not provided but may be hired.

Each apartment has its own electric meter which requires £1 coins.

Well behaved dogs are welcome by direct arrangement with the proprietors - charges will apply.

The Isle of Wight region

The Isle of Wight lies of the South East coast of England and is framed by 60 miles of pictureque coastline with subtropical temperatures.

This is the driest area in the country. The island has one of the largest volume of all weather attractions for its square mileage in the UK.

There are many events ans festivals taking place all year roun. These include the largest walking festival in the UK, the Isle of Wight Rock Festival, the awar winning Bestival, Cycling Festival and the well known Garlic Festival with many many more.

There are also many places of interest to see, the famous Needles and Alum Bay with its coloured sands, Osbourne House - home of Queen Victoria, Carisbrooke Castle - where Charles 1 was imprisoned, Godshll with its historic church and plenty of craft shops and tea rooms and many many more.

Sandown

Sandown lies on the south east of the island. It still retains its own Pier and Victorian charm with a lovely blue flag safe beach that stretchers from Yaverland Bay to Shanklin Beach. Sandown is home to the Isle of Wight Zoo and the famous Dinosaur Isle.

There are plenty of shops to browse, as well as cafes, restaurants, pubs and a lovely park to be enjoyed by all.

The Heights Leisure Centre is located in Sandown and offers swimming pools, gym, spa and classes for all ages.

The local train enables you to take a ride to Shanklin and Ryde as well as many bus routes to get you around the island.

There is also a lovely cliff walk to Shanklin or easy walk on the esplanade.
