Description

This is a luxury new 2 bedroom 1 ensuite house aimed at the 5 star market. The Harbour has much class, with the usual modern amenities. Positioned in the area of Station Avenue within a few minutes walk to sandy beaches and many restaurants.

Large 50 inch tv with dvd, Wii games counsel and iPod connectivity.

The isle of Wight is a beautiful island offering many places of interest.known for its quieter pace of life. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

There is a lot of history that the island has to offer queen Victoria's summer home and various manors and castles to visit.

One of the most southern parts of England the climate is usually on the sunnier side

“This could have been brilliant, but...”

The Harbour is a modern 2 bedroom property well located within 5 minutes of Sandown's shopping and beach. The property was furnished with good quality items except for the two single beds, whose mattresses were both poor quality and in dreadful condition. Additionally, the maintenance of the property left much to be desired...three of the six bulbs in the kitchen area had failed. Three of the five table lamps either had no bulb at all or had failed. there were no spares. Two of the three toilet seats were incorrectly fitted. part of the shower control was found on the shower floor on arrival. The remote controls for TV and DVD player had no/no working batteries. Two attempts to make contact with the owners by telephone did not result in a call back. After completion of the holiday, I contacted the owner to advise him of these problems. he was polite but dismissive except for reimbursing me for batteries and bulbs..... two new mattresses and regular maintenance and the harbour would justify the owner's advertised "aimed at the 5 start market"....but sadly not from my experience.

“Well located, comfortable and well appointed”

Comfortable and well appointed house just a few minutes walk from the beach. Our 3 dogs were welcomed and the house had plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 dogs. Having 2 bathrooms and a separate toilet was great. Adequate garden area with BBQ - we had a great holiday.
