Chalet Compass Rose is ideal for couples and small families, who wish to visit and explore the Isle of Wight staying on a quiet site. From the site there are stunning views of the Culver Cliffs and Sandown Bay. The chalet is situated within a few minutes walk of the beautiful sandy Yaverland beach and a stunning walk (via a cliff path) up to the Culver Downs and view point.. Our much loved chalet has a open plan living area, the accommodation is comfortable and spacious. The patio doors lead into the lounge, kitchen and dinning room areas. There is a separate bathroom with a shower and a compact bedroom. Outside there is space to sit in front of the chalet to enjoy the sun with views of the site and towards the South West overlooking a green which makes a great play area, in the evening there is a great view of the setting sun. The chalet can accommodate up to 4 with the use of sofa beds. (linen provided) electricity is included in the chalet rates and the kitchen is fully equipped. The lounge has a TV with built-in DVD player.

Why can't I call Elizabeth (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elizabeth (the owner) a message.

If Elizabeth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
