Situated mid-way between Bristol and Weston-super-mare, on the famous Strawberry Line, Sandford is ideally positioned for a walking, cycling or climbing type break. Just down the road from Avon Ski Centre. “Lovely place, lovely people, lovely dog”

Very friendly and although at first you might feel like your on someone's doorstep, you really do have all of your privacy. Had a great week.

“Fantastic Cottage!”

Wonderful cottage/apartment with all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. Very nicely furnished, clean, and well maintained. The owners provided everything we needed as required and had a wonderful, relaxing getaway prepared. I would definitely stay there again. Great location near Bristol, Cardiff, Bath, and Cheddar Gorge at a fair price. I strongly recommend it if you are able to book "The Annex" for your next getaway. Thanks Tim!

“A very warm welcome”

We stayed at the annexe as we were attending a wedding at Coombe lodge in Blagdon. We needed somewhere that was stress-free as it was our first trip away with our newborn baby. This place was perfect. The property was very clean, nicely decorated and warm. It was fully equipped with everything we needed&had ample parking space. The owners were incredibly friendly&welcoming without being interfering! I would definitely stay here again.

“Wonderful”

Well located for exploring the surrounding area, whether on foot, cycling or car. Would be of particular interest to train enthusiasts (which I am not!) given location. A cut above some of the other shoddy self catered accommodation I have used (for the price). Comfortable and with all of the home comforts such as central heating, wifi, freesat, DVD, separate fully equipped kitchen. Good quality bed linen and towels. Would comfortably accommodate 4 people if utilising sofabed. Added attraction of lovely happy family dog! What could be viewed as a negative is the proximity of the accommodation to the owners house, as it is more or less a converted workshop in their back garden. However, this was not an issue as far as I was concerned and I was aware before I visited and the owners couldn't have been nicer, even if I only saw them when I arrived and when I left. Not suitable if you don't have a car.
