“Excellent location - some visitor information would have helped”

Reviewed 29 Apr 2015

We really enjoyed our stay here. San Vito Lo Capo is a lovely town with good amenities for visitors. Within about an hour you can get to Segeste, Trapani, Erice, and closer in is the nature reserve. The house was spacious, although had no oven or grill which surprised us. It was also rather chilly in the evenings at this time of year. The location right on the sea front is lovely, and the house has really nice outside space front and back (back is out of the breeze as well). My suggestions for improvement would be for there to be some sort of visitors book for the house - we had trouble with the calor gas hob and the electrics tripped, but we had no way to sort them out ourselves as there was no information. Some simple first steps would have helped - along with information about refuse disposal and so on. Overall a really nice place to stay - although a little tricky to navigate for those not speaking Italian.
