PLEASE NOTE: The yacht is available for accommodation only and not for any kind of chartered sailing.

If you are looking for a different type of holiday accommodation and perhaps a bit off the beaten track, then Brego is just the thing for you. She is a lovely luxury sailing yacht situated in the marina in San Sebastian, the main town on the Island of La Gomera, Canary Islands.

The island is much quieter, more laid back, less touristy (more Spanish) and with a slower pace of life than its, sometimes more rowdy neighbours, yet is within an hour by ferry from southern Tenerife.

The yacht has 3 double cabins which comfortably accommodate 6 adults, as well as a fully equipped galley/kitchen, heads (or shower room) with wash hand basin, shower and toilet, roomy main saloon with ample seating and a dining table.

There is also a spacious and comfortable cockpit on deck for eating al fresco, enjoying watching the sun going down or just watching the world go by! A Bimini or sun shade is included.

Shower and toilet facilities are also availabe within the marina.

Laundry facilities are available within the marina (paid).

There is a flat screen television (no local channels) which has a built-in dvd player and can also be connected by usb to an external hard drive. Bring your own movies and tunes!

Marina La Gomera is very close (only a couple of minutes walk) to the centre of town with a variety of bars/restaurants and historic buildings. It is also only a two minute walk to each of the three local beaches and the swimming pool and tennis courts.

La Gomera itself is one of the smaller Canary Islands. It has a unique identity and is very well worth exploring. It is very easy to sit with a coffee in a local cafe and watch the world go by! If walking and hiking are your thing, then there are miles of trails to be explored, picturesque little towns and "wow" moments round every corner. Not the least of which is the Garajonay National Park, which has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1986.

Please note that children aged 5 years or under are not permitted.

Our boat is properly licensed and insured for commercial use. For your own safety, please always ensure that any boat you book can legally be used for a commercial purpose such as letting for accommodation and/or sailing.

Getting around

Car hire is locally available. Bicycle hire is locally available. San Sebastian is small enough to explore on foot. The bus station is five minutes walk away from the marina and there is a good bus service throughout the island.

Interaction with guest

One of us will meet you when you arrive to give you a tour of the yacht and a briefing on how things work, as well as getting in and out of the marina, local amenities etc. We live a couple of minutes away and, while we will not interrupt your holiday, we are available if you have any questions, need help or advice. One of us will also arrive around lunchtime each day to fill up the water tank (access inside the boat is not require to do so).
