Getting around

San Pedro is less than 3 mins drive from Puerto Banus and is also walking distance. It is 20-25 mins walk into San Pedro, or just a few mins by car as it is only 1.75 miles away. Behind San Pedro, there is a mountain road which leads to the stunning village of Ronda, which will take approximately 35-40 mins by car with breathtaking scenery en-route! Puerto Banus is a very exclusive and glamorous marina, where you can mingle with the rich and famous and admire their beautiful yachts, There are lots of beautiful shops to look at around the marina, including many designer names, such as Chloe, Louis Vuitton, Jimmy Choo, Versace, or Dolce and Gabana. You can have a meal or just enjoy a drink in one of the many restaurants or bars!

“Home away from Home - Superb!”

Reviewed 7 Mar 2017

We had a lovely stay at Casa Paradiso (Sept 2016) Many thanks to Stacey for the easy organisation of the holiday and the contacts to use for car hire- will definitely use again. Thank you to Melanie and Leonard who actually lived next door - such lovely couple...Nothing was too much trouble. The villa itself is a little gem...home away from home... The use of the private pool was brilliant....no sharing ..definitely the way forward. There were some lovely eateries just around the corner and over the metal bridge. We made the most of the holiday..travelling to Torremolinos, Benalmedina, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Estapona and Gibraltar. All in all a wonderful holiday and would recommend in a heartbeat. Thank you....The Hudsons & The Carrs

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your kind comments. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

“Home from home”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2016

I stayed at the villa with my partner, daughter and parents for 10 nights and it was a lovely, relaxing and just what was needed. The villa was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The whole process from booking to leaving was made so easy by Stacey who gave us advice on transport for taxi transfers and lots of other information. Stacey was extremely helpful and understood our anxieties of booking online (we were scammed out of our holiday and £2000 last year) and therefore set up paypal so we knew it was safe to book through this method. Back to the villa, the beds were really comfy, the wi-fi was a godsend with a 15 year old teenager in our group and the large TV with SKY was also well used. The bedrooms are a good size and my partner and I slept in the room connected to the villa through a separate doorway and it was very quiet. The aircon was also needed some nights as it was very warm. The pool was kept very clean and when the owner, Mel, popped in to replace a parasol that had broken (and promptly replaced the very next day) she noticed it needed topping up and her handyman was on the task straight away. Mel was also very helpful, giving tips on where to eat out etc. and also popped a lovely bottle of wine in for us . There are loads of good places to eat nearby, our favourite was La Grappa, on other side of bridge. We ate there 3 times after discovering it on our 5th day, food was lovely and service was great. Steak and Rib shack just down the road from us was also very nice. The beach is literally down the bottom of the street and down some steps, it was quite pebble so we didn't use it but did have a walk along after we had been to the pool bar one night - also a great place for a nice cool drink or a snack. All in all we had a lovely time and really enjoyed our stay, a big thank you to Stacey and Mel for all your help, we hope to visit your lovely villa again in the future.

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for your very kind review. We are so glad just you all enjoyed your holiday and look forward to welcoming you back to stay again in the future.

“A little piece of Paradise!!”

This villa has everything and more, the furnishings are exceptional and the villa it's self is very well equipped, we stayed for a week on our own and then the second week our grandchildren aged 2 and 3 came with our son and daughter in law, they loved it, it is so secure and the pool is lovely, the rooms are really big so there was still lot's of room and the tv was great with so many channells, the location is exceptional just a small walk to the fantastic beach and again a stroll to the bars and fantastic restaurants.Stacey the manager is extremely helpful supplying us with car seats and buggys for the boys even toys for them to play with. The owners if you are fortunate to meet them are fantastic and made our stay one that we will never forget, we can't wait to book again

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your very complimentary comments. Please keep in touch. We look forward to welcoming you back to stay again.

“Lovely little Villa in a lovely location”

Reviewed 3 Oct 2014

I stayed here for a week in September with my partner and a couple of friends. We had a fantastic holiday. I like to be close to amenities but not in the thick of it. The location couldn't have been more perfect, walking distance to the beach and a good number of restaurants and bars. There was a little supermarket which was a few mins walk away or there were a couple of the bigger supermarkets about 15 minutes walk away or a couple of mins drive away. We hired a car from the airport and found the house very easily with the directions provided, I didn't even need to use the satnav. The villa was very well equipped with everything and more than you would expect for a holiday. It was a bonus to have internet as well as a large TV and access to movies. The pool was perfect for dipping in to cool off on the days we stayed in, we found that because the villa was so well equipped we didn't feel the need to go out and eat every night and had a couple of BBQ's and cooked a nice meal. I would certainly recommend staying at the Casa Paradiso if you're looking for a nice relaxing holiday but still want to be in a good location to get out and about and check out the area.

Owner's reply: We are very glad you had such a lovely time and look forward to seeing you again. Thanks for your kind comments.

“Excellent location, perfect base for exploring the area”

Reviewed 8 Aug 2014

Location was fantastic for us (family of 4 with a 2 year old and an 8 month old). Being in a residential area there was no noise at all either through the day or on an evening. We were within a short walk of plenty of restaurants and a couple of really good child friendly cafes. The funky forest is a cafe just a couple of minutes walk away and the children loved it there as it had lots of play equipment, a bouncy castle and a petting corner with rabbits. The nearest supermarket was also just a couple of minutes walk away and stocked most things we needed. There were larger supermarkets across the road. The beach was a 2 minute walk from the house but because we had a double buggy we found it difficult to get down there so we had to walk around 20 minutes down the road to get to a spot that was more developed and had dedicated pathways to get down onto the beach to enable us to take the children there. The only downside of the location was that the iron bridge used to cross the road was all steps (pretty tricky with a pushchair) and the nearest ramp bridge was a 20 minute walk (near the entrance we used to the beach), but saying that we didn't really need to cross the road many times. The bus stop for the Puerto Banus/Marbella bus was a 2 minute walk away. The villa itself was fully equipped with everything we needed and the pool was just the right size for us. A gardener came twice whilst we were there to keep the pool area tidy which was great. There were a lot of baby/children's toys, etc provided. The cots were of an excellent quality (which isn't always the case in villas abroad) and I was happy with the standard of all the children's things that were provided. We met the owners of the villa (they live next door) who were very welcoming and couldn't be more helpful in giving us suggestions on where to go, etc. We booked our airport transfers through a recommendation from them too and weren't disappointed. The only reason I haven't rated it as excellent is that there were a few areas that were not so child friendly (like the stairs between the pool and the villa) and the outside area was uneven which was tricky for the kids to navigate. I didn't expect it to be completely child friendly though so none of this was an issue for us. We had a fantastic time here and would definitely return.

Owner's reply: We are so pleased that you enjoyed your holiday so much. We try to create a home from home atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

“Absolutely Beautiful Villa. Will definitely be going back!”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2014

Absolutely beautiful Villa! Totally silent, yet only a few minutes walk from every kind of restaurant you could imagine, supermarket and sea. Particularly loved the private poll and home cinema system. It is just as described, if not better! We will definitely be coming back. 5 out of 5

Owner's reply: Thanks for your kind comments, we are very glad you enjoyed your stay. (Think you meant private "pool")

“Great house and location”

Reviewed 23 Sep 2013

I went to this lovely house with my sister and grown up daughter for a girlie break. The house met all our requirements, giving us a bedroom and bathroom each, lovely comfortable living area and, most importantly for us, a sunny garden and pool to relax by. We had no need for a car as there were loads of good restaurants and a choice of supermarkets within a short walk, also it was only a stones throw to the beach. The owners were in residence next door whilst we were staying and they were lovely and very hospitable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the house to a friend.

“Casa Paradiso Lived Up To Its Name!”

Reviewed 31 Jul 2013

If you’re looking for a tranquil haven not far from the madding Marbella crowds, then Casa Paradiso more than lives up to its name. Situated in an exclusive suburban street, it’s hard to believe the buzz of the busy main road with its abundance of fantastic restaurants is a mere 2 minute stroll away! Having spent an idyllic 9 days in this oasis of calm, it was extremely difficult to drag ourselves away from the bewitching confines of this exquisite little Casa! The owners have gone to great lengths to create a home from home and everything about the Casa is exactly as advertised. No expense has been spared with the tasteful decor and furnishings including two plasma TV’s in the lounge and master bedroom. Whilst impressive, they were never once turned on as ‘al fresco’ was the order of the day and night! Equidistant from San Pedro beach and the enchanting Port at Estepona, (a 10 minute drive either way or around 20 euros in a cab), you really are spoilt for choice with the cornucopia of eclectic restaurants offering everything from typical Spanish cuisine in the beach bars to the most outrageously delicious steaks and baked potatoes (a welcome respite from the obligatory French fries!) at Grill Del Puerto Estepona which has just recently opened. We just can’t wait to return to Casa Paradiso – hasta luego!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely comments. We are so pleased that you had such a lovely time and we would like to think that we will always stay friends.
