The living area and front bedroom both have double doors opening onto the elevated garden making the most of the stunning scenery. A fully equipped chestnut kitchen is provided for those evenings when you wish to dine alfresco in this idyllic location or if it's too hot to cook inside, the BBQ is ideal. People travel miles to the local butcher for his melt in the mouth beef steak or very spicy sausages. The piazza bedroom is very spacious as well as cool even in the hot summer. Ideal for up to 3 children or also a couple as there is a king size and single bed.

The shared swimming pool is just a short stroll down past the olive trees and also has stunning views across the hills, a great place to relax between sightseeing. In the early evening there is usually a welcome breeze to cool things down a little which also keeps the mosquitoes away. Furniture is provided for your use at the pool and there is also a shower.

The Tuscany region

Tuscany is widely regarded as the true birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.

Florence, the legacy of a union between commerce and art, owes its existence to the Medici dynasty, who employed Leonardo and Michelangelo to lend artistic integrity to their business acumen.

San Miniato is famous for it truffles and every year in November there is a large food fair in the center which has now expanded and attracts vendors from all over Italy. So, you can get real taste of Italian food from every region.

San Miniato and it's area is a great choice for your holiday. Something for everyone. Culture, food, wine, endless sightseeing, and in the hot periods the beaches offer cool waters to swim.

San Miniato

Tuscan building style is blessed with the fortune of many powerful families that left much of their wealth to embellish Tuscany with churches. The commune in San Miniato is said to be wealthy some of this wealth is portrayed in the way their own buildings are finely decorated with hand painted designs and frescos.
Tuscany is a land that offers everything a traveller may need to turn holidays in an unforgettable experience.

San Miniato is a superb little market town and the tower itself is worth climbing as the view from the top is excellent.
There is an array of shops selling local produce, antiques and of of course ice cream. There is also a locally famed cafe which sells the most fantastic chocolate and cakes hand prepared on the premises. Well worth looking at if you have a sweet tooth. We can recommend great vineyards to visit if you like sampling local wines. Restaurants too, if we have not tried them ourselves we will know someone who has. There is a good choice locally and are all reasonable on price. We can point you to right place if you would like something different.
