Situated five minutes walk from the town centre, the fully furnished flat is in an ideal location for restaurants, bars, shops and local amenities. The flat is on the top floor of a four storey building with views of the mountain sierra. There is parking outside the building and the flat is on a quiet residential road. The neighbours are all locals and very welcoming. Please note there is no lift in the building.

The apartment is not only a holiday letting but a second home and that's exactly how it feels when you stay - at home.

Bedroom 1 has a standard double bed. Bedroom 2 has two singles that can be pushed together and attached to make a wide double bed. Bedroom 3 has a single bed with an extra spare mattress under the bed that can go on the floor next to it.

We have a babies' paddling pool. There is no swimming pool at the property, but there are 2 public swimming pools in San Lorenzo de el Escorial: one at the sports centre and one at the golf course. The one at the Sports Centre comprises 3 outdoor pools: toddler pool, main pool and lane swimming pool (open end of June until September). They have 2 indoor pools as well which are open from October to June. The Sports Centre is 5 mins. drive from the apartment. You can also get a bus there (1 an hour).

I visit San Lorenzo Monastery in June 2017. Spain is amazing but when I saw San Lorenzo del Escorial I was impressed. Beautiful view, nice and friendly people and great food.

Llegamos a santiago de el escorial sin saber que nos encontraríamos, y la verdad que nos sorprendió. El lugar es hermoso, muy turistico, con mucho para dar. La ubicacion del apartamento es excelente, ya que la zona es muy tranquila y es facil llegar en tren a Madrid en tan solo 30min evitando el tráfico. Asi mismo en Santiago de el Escorial hay muchas cosas para recorrer, como el monasterio o el valle de los caídos. El trato de Elisabet fue excelente. Siempre estuvo disponible ante cualquier problema, y muy interesada en que tengamos una buena estancia. Volveria sin dudarlo!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Elisabet (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
