Casa Cielo Azul is a 4,000 square foot home designed by renowned architect Matthew Falkiner of Simplemente Madera. Experience peaceful treetop living in eco-luxury with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Sounds of the waves from three nearby beaches can be heard from the bedrooms and living spaces, harmonizing with sounds from birds and howler monkeys.
The heart of the house is the main level. You enter through the large deck among the trees and raised high above the forest floor. Sliding doors open into the open plan dining area and kitchen. The hallways are columned with beautiful pieces of eucalyptus hardwood and lead into the main sala or living room and another viewing deck.
The house has two master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, his and hers sinks. A third bedroom also with an ensuite bathroom is located with its own entrance at the lower level of the house with its own deck. An additional fourth bedroom is located on the upper level.
The house has wi-fi through-out. Located on the lower level is the laundry room equipped with washer and dryer - very handy during the green season. The house is also equipped with back-up power powered by inverter so can continue a tranquil holiday without noise from generators - a must in Nicaragua.
Casa Cielo Azul a is part of the Balcones de Majagual, a gated community. Parking is available with security 24 hour security. Your security man is also equipped with a two way radio that links him to the property supervisor should you have any questions about the house, the town or if you need assistance with additional services. Cleaning service is available biweekly at no extra cost.

Getting Here and Getting Around...
Our meet and greet team will be hear to welcome you on arrival, providing a tour of town, assist with grocery shopping, and escort you to the house- an extra we include for you at no charge!
The houses in Balcones de Majagual are accessible only by 4x4 vehicle- we can assist with booking that at a 10% discount. We can arrange transportation with iskra travel who can pick you up from the airport and transfer you to SJDS to pick up your 4 x 4 OR on a 4x4 from San Juan del Sur to the house for later arrivals. If you are not with small children and the elderly, it is possible to walk from property entrance to the house. It is about a 10 minute uphill walk, our friendly guards will help carry your bags.
Nearby Town and Beaches...
15 minutes north of the town of San Juan del Sur, close enough to drive down to shop for a few amenities, chat with the local surfers or go to a restaurant or bar for some live music and eats but far enough to retreat from all that hustle and bustle.
If however, you and your friends are here for a surfing adventure, you will be glad to know that you can stash your boards on your truck or ATV and drive down from the house to Playa Playones in 3 minutes. Park the car and walk 5 minutes south to Playa Maderas. Walk from the house with the board in about 20 minutes. Playa Remanso, breaks on sand, excellent for beginners is about a 35 minute drive. Playa Yankee and other surfing beaches are a bit further off.
