"Monsul" is our beautiful 2 bedroomed apartment, which we had renovated in November this year. It is located on quiet street close to the centre of the pretty seaside village of San Jose within the unique "Cabo de Gata" Parque Natural.

The apartment shares exclusive use of the Pool, BBQ and large sun terrace with two other private apartments.

The apartment itself has 1 kingsize bedroom and 1 twin bedroom. It has an open plan kitchen / lounge area with direct open access onto its own balcony. The views from the balcony are breathtaking, looking over the mountains, town and sea. There is also a private seating area at the rear of the apartment, where the Pool can be accessed from. It has a newly refurbished shower room. The apartment has a wood burning stove for heating on cool winter nights or Air conditioning for the warmer ones. In addition there is now FREE WIFI and English TV (IPTV)

The Pool Area has a large sun terrace overlooking the Pool, with sunloungers. There is also a Spanish style BBQ and large stone dining area.

The apartment is a great location to just chill out by the pool and perhaps enjoy a relaxed BBQ. Alternatively there are numerous goreous beaches all within10 - 30 minutes walk dependent upon which one you choose! The nearest is 5-10 minutes walk. If you wish to explore some of Spians most picturesque beaches they can be found within a 15 minute car drive.

If you are a keen cyclist or walker there are many stunning tracks/ paths/roads that run directly from the apartment- taking you to some of the most spectacular finds whether they be beaches, views or villages. Including the stunning natural hills and beaches of the Parque Natural.

Just a 5 minute walk into San Jose town and you can sample one of up to 25 local bars and restaurants . Scattered along the beach front, around the harbour and inland- there are plenty to choose from. There are also 4 mini supermarkets that are always well stocked, including BBQ items. The shops in San Jose are fantastic- all small privately owned boutiques selling jewellery, clothes, souveniers and arts and crafts.

Alternativey if you fancy a day or night in the Chic City of Almeria, you will find the Alcazaba, Cathedral, Markets, tapas bars and festivals. (20- 30 minute drive)

These are a few of many options for a perfect holiday.With 320 sunny days per year, a relaxing vacation is virtually guaranteed. It is a great base for a romantic getaways/ family holidays or just for exploring the area.

Why can't I call Trevor (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Trevor (the owner) a message.

If Trevor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
