Getting around

Local buses and taxis are available but we do recommend a car to embrace this outstanding area. There two major routes one down the coast and one futher inland but both serve there purpose of getting you from Costa Blanca north to south with ease. There is a major railway station at Alicante with local trains running from there, if you fancy a trip up to Valencia or into Madrid both are easily accessible for a couple of days away. Locally you have a vast amount of opportunities from country side walks to glorious beaches and sea as well as traditional Spanish towns up in the mountains . The delightful food speaks for its self and again there is such a vast array available around and further afield. If by chance you don't have a car then the nearest bank restaurants and other amenities are 15-20 min walk away

Had two lovely weeks at our villa, a great base to explore this area. Plenty of room for our family of four and everything you need to lunch in when you wanted to. Small pool area, but we preferred the beautiful La Marina beach anyway. Recommended but you do need a car.

Fabulous holiday staying at Our Villa in La Marina. The villa is beautiful and is tastefully decorated, the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. Particularly enjoyed the stunning views on the roof terrace and the fridge was really handy as didnt have far to walk to get a cold drink. Welcome pack was really useful, villa is fantastic value especially with air conditioning included in the price. Nice quiet location and great base to travel to explore local area
