Beautiful rustic finca located between Punta Prima and Cala Embastè, a 3 minute walk from spectacular cliffs. The house is in a very central position on the island, close to the towns of San Ferran and Es Pujols and to some of the many beaches that make Formentera such a special place.
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one inside the house and one outside), a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room equipped with a chimney and a beautiful dining porch. A huge terrace with views to the sea and Ibiza is accessible from the master bedroom, located on the second floor. The beautiful, vintage furniture gives the house a cosy touch that will definitely make you feel at home!
Although the main house can only accommodate 5 people, there is a surprise in the garden: a bright and charming african-style bungalow equipped with a comfortable double bed, making room for 2 extra people. The typical Mediterrenean garden is large and peaceful, and the numerous chill out corners will allow you to make the most of it!
The house is supplied with an outdoor washing machine and drying area, 2 water wells, a barbecue, and extra garden shower, WiFi internet, TV with DVD player, sound system with vinyl record player (and vintage vinyls), heating system and beddings/towels for guests.
I live in a completely independent studio located right next to the main house. The orientation of the studio, with a separate entrance and a hidden terrace, and its own kitchen and bathroom, mean that my permanence there will not interfere with the privacy of your holiday! However, i will still be available in case you need any help with the house, and If you wish i will be very happy to help you make your way though the island by giving you great tips on what to do and where to go - i know all the secret places! I speak english, spanish and italian.
The house is perfect for families, couples and groups of friends who would like to disconnect from the chaotic every-day reality by relaxing in a peaceful environment surrounded by nature. This is where i live all year round and the place means a lot to me: i need guests that will respect it. if you are coming to Formentera to mindlessly party hard & loud then this might not be the right place for you!
Please feel free to contact me in case you have any doubt/question and i will make sure i get back to you as quick as possible!
If you are looking for the ultimate relax, i can arrange for you Ayurveda massages (also at home) and Yoga classes with my lovely friend Olga.
For the more adventurous i can offer diving courses (i'm a certified PADI Dive Instructor), or if you prefer to stay above the water i can help you find the perfect boat for sailing trips around the island!

The Balearic Islands region
The Balearic Islands are an archipelago of Spain in the western Mediterranean Sea, near the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula.
The four largest islands are: Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera. The archipelago forms an autonomous community and a province of Spain, with Palma as the capital. The co-official languages in the Balearic Islands are Catalan and Spanish. The current Statute of Autonomy declares the Balearic Islands as one nationality of Spain.
Just eleven nautical miles south of Ibiza Town, FORMENTERA (population 8212) is the smallest of the four main Balearic Islands, measuring just 20km from east to west. Formentera's history more or less parallels that of Ibiza, though between 1348 and 1697 it was left uninhabited for fear of pirate raids. Like Ibiza, it was a key part of the 1960s hippie trail (Pink Floyd made an album here), and the island retains a bohemian character.
Formentera is very arid, and mainly covered in rosemary, which grows wild everywhere; it also crawls with thousands of brilliant-green Ibiza wall lizards (Podarcis pityusensis), which flourish in parched scrubland. The economy is tourism-based, taking advantage of some of Spain's longest, whitest and least-crowded beaches. Development has been limited, and visitors come here seeking escape rather than sophistication.
