Great apartment very quiet ocean front, first floor, no lift, 95m2, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, the rest in a single large piece of more than 55m2. Recently reconstructed and furnished, early 2010.

Ideal families, two rooms with 2 single beds each, and a sofa (chaise longue) in the living room for an adult or two children.

Restaurants, grocery, prepared food, pharmaceutical, bank, bars, public transport (bus and train) in the town within 100 meters from the apartment. Public parking in front of the apartment of 100m or less guaranteed.

Further details

Completely rebuilt in early 2012, new fully equipped. Ideal for 4 adults and 2 children.

Includes final cleaning and elements for breakfast on the first day.

Asturias does not suffer the harsh lack of water that much of the rest of Spain does - it is verdant and green thanks to a more temperate climate. It is still a thousand or so miles south of the UK though and thus generally a few degrees warmer than the south of England.

“A very bright and spacious apartment overlooking the Rio Malon”

The apartment was located on the waterfront in the center of San Esteban. It was conveniently situated above a bar which was open from 11.00 till late (not very noisy). The kitchen,lounge and dining area were in a large, open plan design which was very spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also of a good size. We chose this apartment because we were able to take our 3kg. Yorkshire terrier dog also we were able to park our car close by. The area is lush and green with many towns and cities to explore. The beach on the opposite side of the river in Arena was fabulous, with long sandy beaches, with cafe bars, again plenty of parking and good for walking. There is a large salt water public swimming pool and gardens in San Estaban which is within walking distance. The area is quiet, and good for walking and fishing; also lots of historical sites to explore both in San Esteban and the larger cities close by. Some of these can be reached by the local train 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Asturias airport is 20 minutes drive. We would recommend it!
