From the owner

The studio is in a small house in a quiet neighbourhood, at most 15 walking minutes from the historical center. Bus number 1 on Max Glaner Hauptstrasse, 4-5 walking minutes away, takes you to the historical center and to the train station. Bus 27 , 3-4 walking minutes away, takes you to the historical center and the airport. 3 to 10 walking minutes away there are many restaurants, close by also a bakery and about 10 walking minutes away a supermarket.

The studio has been completely renovated and newly furnished. It consists of a bedroom with a comfortable queen size double bed, a wardrobe, SAT TV, DVD, radio, CD, safe deposit box, desk and chair and balcony. A large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, stove, oven, coffee maker, Nespresso machine toaster, table and 4 chairs, wardrobe and an additional sofa which opens into a 120cm. wide bed. Bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer.

The apartment has a private parking place and wifi. A washing room on the ground floor with a washing machine and tumble dryer belongs to the 3 apartments. In the back there is a small garden with a hut for bicycles.

This place would have gotten a wonderful review (5) if not for the owner trying to blame us for issues with the property that were maintenance items. The place itself is great and a good location.

Dear guests. I am surprised that you regarded the broken things as maintenance items. The keybox was ruined, the cover was on the floor because it could not be placed back and I had to get a new one for €167 with installation and in the store they told my neighbour it must have been tried to open by force, and this happened on the day you arrived, no other guests arrived that day and it has never happened before, so I asked you if it was you or your friends who did that. The toilet seat was also a high quality seat that normally does not break if you just sit on it, it was may be 1-1,5 years old, so I really do not think these are maintenance items. Sorry.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ruth and Frederic (the owner) a message.

If Ruth and Frederic (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
