Description

Casabella is the largest, most prestigious three bedroom penthouse apartment in the modern Las Brisas complex. Las Brisas is a small development of 38 spacious high quality apartments. The complex has its own large pool surrounded by lush palm trees & sun loungers, for relaxing around on any of the 320 days of sunshine the resort enjoys annually.

The apartment includes: 1 double bedroom with ensuite, 2 twin bedrooms. , 1 family bathroom and Sleeps 6. Cots can be requested if needed.

Situated on the top (3rd) floor and accessed by a lift, this spacious and fully furnished accommodation includes: Air conditioning, Satellite, 42' Flat Screen TV, Stereo, Barbecue, Washing Machine, Microwave and augmented by a stunning 62 sq Metre terrace, with breathtaking views to the snow-capped mountains of the Sierras.

High Chairs and cots for young children can be provided for a further 20 euros per week. Whilst the accommodation is perfect for families, (there is even has a toddlers pool), this is also a perfect 'get away from it all' holiday location. You can enjoy complete privacy on your own enormous 65m terrace, where you can just relax and soak up the sun, in the gentle breeze, or you can watch over your children playing in the pool, or on the tennis court below. Being in the Penthouse apartment has its own unique advantages.

The pool is closed for Siesta from 3pm - 5pm daily, but the beach is a stone throw away, and an ideal place to cool off in the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. The pool is supervised by a life guard and the pool season runs from 15th June - 15th September.

The apartment also has secure underground parking if required.

If you are feeling more energetic you also have your own private tennis court within the secure complex.

The beach and many bars & restaurants are just a stones throw away, this is an ideal apartment for either relaxing or exploring

Skiing: Less than 1 hour from the beach is the magnificent Sierra Nevada range offering one of the longest ski seasons in Europe from Nov - April. This is one of the few places in the world where you can ski in the morning, and enjoy sunbathing on the beach later the same day!

Golf : For the avid golfer there is a nearby 18 hole golf course in Motril, just 5 minutes along the coast. Mountain biking and horse riding are also available and are the perfect wato enjoy some of the most stunning scenery in Spain.

Other activities: In the summer you will find the usual water sports (Snorkelling, windsurfing, fishing, jet skiing, beach volleyball etc.) Near the massive Penon rock you will find an abundance of marine life where you can scuba dive or snorkel.

Casabella really does have everything, with Salobrena offering you the real Spain whilst also having all the facilities you can expect from a thriving resort. It's a great place to get away from it all, but there is plenty of action and places of interest all within an hour for those who love to explore or be active.

Casabella is less than a minute walk to the beach, and a five minute stroll back into the old town where you will find a blend of traditional tapas bars, quaint restaurants and summer markets.

The town is steeped in history, with its beautiful Moorish Castle overlooking beaches lined with palm trees and beach restaurants.

Just a forty-minute drive north is the Moorish capital of Granada, said to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Here you will find the Alhambra Palace, the oldest and most beautiful of all the Moorish palaces which remain in the world today.

To the west lies Nerja, a charming holiday resort with its famous caves, and just a ten-minute drive away is the sumptuous Marina del Este, full of charm and understated wealth.

Nestling in the beautiful unspoilt region of the Costa Tropical, Salobrena is the jewel in the Costa del Sol and Tropical Coastline.

Beach

Salobrena has eight kilometres of coastline. A stunning rock outcrop half on the beach, half nestled in the Mediterranean, known as El Peon, separates Salobrena's two main beaches: Playa de la Charca and the Playa de la Guardia.

La Charca is a larger sandy beach, offering pedalow, canoe, and jet ski hire etc. La Guardia is well protected by the El Penon rock, the water is crystal clear here, and a snorkelers paradise. There are various beach restaurants here, known as chiringuitos, which are great for enjoying traditional paella, freshly caught seafood and a refreshing beer or tasty sangria.

Playa de la Guardia is a long, wild beach stretching out between fields of sugar cane crops and the sea. You can always guarantee finding a quiet spot to enjoy here. The small isolated cove, called El Caleton, has a beautiful sea bed but does not have many services. A slight walk is required to reach this beach. For this reason, it is peaceful. We often suggests our guests go here to see the dolphins playing,

To the west the coastline is dotted with the beautiful coves of La Caleta and El Pargo, which offer small isolated beaches. All of these beaches are within an easy 5 minute drive

City Centre

The picturesque whitewashed town of Salobrena which is a 5-8 minute walk is regarded as the jewel of the Costa Tropical. Built upon a rock on the edge of the Mediterranean sea, above the quaint cobbled streets with village houses adorned by colourful displays of flowers,

Salobrena town is crowned by a Moorish Castle which sits 105 metres above sea level. The castle dates back to the 10th century with views that are spectacular.

To the south the vista spreads across the sea to neighbouring towns of Motril and Almunecar, below the rock lie the tropical fruit trees and sugar cane fields and to the north the snow covered Sierra Nevada mountains. Nestling among the whitewashed houses some delightful and atmospheric tapas bars and restaurants can be found, where tapas are still given free while you stop to take refreshments and watch the world go by.

Aquatropic 5km - is the regions premier water park attraction.Over 18000m2 of slides, plunge pools, waterfalls and other water features to entertain the whole family.

Mountains – 80Km (1 Hour Drive)

Undoubtedly one of the most stunning features of the Costa Tropical region is the Sierra Nevada mountain range which can be seen all over the province of Granada.

Skiiing

High in the Sierra Nevada mountains, less than 35 km from Granada and only an hours drive from Salobrena, you will find the ski resort of Sol y nieve. This is Europe's most southerly ski venue and was the site of the 1996 World Ski Championships. It is also the home of a high altitude training centre which is located above the village and used by many international sporting stars.

Sol y nieve (English translation literally means sun and snow) has a wide choice of runs to suit all skiing levels, but is an especially good resort for beginners. The long and gentle green and blue runs allow even the most nervous skier to build up confidence. The season starts in early December and continues until the end of April or even May (depending upon conditions). Lifts and cable cars connect the resort, at 2,100 m, to the second highest peak in Spain, Veleta, standing at 3,398 m.

Activities, both on and off the slopes, are plentiful. Skating and cross-country skiing can be practised during the day and when the night falls, the aprés-ski celebrations keep visitors entertained until late. Weekends and bank holidays are especially busy.

“Perfect location for winter Cycling Training Camp”

The Bryan Steel Racing Academy chose Salobrena for its winter training camp. Perfectly located the aspiring riders were able to take full advantage of the reliable winter sunshine combined with the variety of smooth roads and challenging terrain. From the rolling coastal road to the relentless climbs of the Sierra Nevada, the team were able to enjoy perfect training conditions. The apartment served as an outstanding base providing excellent accommodation and amenities to ensure that their post ride relaxation and essential nutrition could be satisfied. Perfectly equipped, secure and with an outstanding view of the mountains from the terrace, the team wouldn’t hesitate in returning. Chapeau!
