Sala's unique micro-climate, protected by the island, offers ambiance for year-round relaxation and sightseeing convenience (with or without a car), on the premier western shore of Lake Como where guests may experience Italian village-life close to all the popular tourist attractions of Lake Como.

For those arriving by car, free parking is provided within in the village precincts, however, the regular seasonal lake-ferry services, local C10 buses, or water taxi, make a car unnecessary.
