“Een hele mooie gite, prachtige omgeving, super vriendelijke eigenaren!”

Reviewed 24 Aug 2015

“Quiet location - great pool!”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2015

We stayed for 2 weeks in June 2014 and had great weather throughout. The main attraction for us was the pool, which is solely for the use of the guests, and is a good size and in full sun all day. The property itself is quite small, but as it was just the two of us, this was not really a problem. The owners live next door and were available most of the time if we had any questions. We had a very relaxing break in a lovely quiet area of France.

“Lovely gite in a wonderful location”

Reviewed 30 Oct 2014

This lovely gite is really well situated, not too far from Villeneuve-sur-Lot and nearby to large supermarkets. It is ideally located for exploring south west France and the gite itself has a large garden with incredible views. Barry and Sharon (and Angus the dog) were all really welcoming and had provided good instructions to get to the gite and plenty of great advice/tips for the local area as well. The gite was really well equipped and had a great outside space with sunloungers and a bbq which is where we spent most of our evenings! The pool was not open yet as it was not hot enough but we would love to come back in the summer when we think that the pool would be amazing! This was a really great place to stay and I thoroughly recommend it.

“Thank you Barry, Sharon and of course Angus for a peaceful and refreshing stay.”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2014

What a wonderful get away nestled close to a village and 20min drive from Villeneuve sur Lot. But once at the gite you would not know they existed. This has to be one of the best located Gites we have ever stayed at, maybe we are biased as Villeneuve is one of our favourite places in France. Boring bits - Supermarket 5 mins drive away. Drive from England easy enough, toll roads most of the way (we stopped over night half way) . Gite - Lovely, neat and tidy. Space to eat in or outside on the veranda. Great kitchen plenty of pans and utensils. One double room and one single. Bathroom with proper shower, hot and wet. Open kitchen, dining and lounge with TV. Outside - Veranda for eating and relaxing. Large area for parking. Slightly down hill to a large pool with space for sun loungers, lots of time spent here ! Also large flatish grassed area, plenty big enough to practice my archery. We had three weeks and would recommend this Gite whole heartedly. Hopefully we will return soon. Thank you Barry, Sharon and of course Angus for a peaceful and refreshing stay.

“Fantastic Holiday”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2013

The gite was lovely, very homely and nice and clean. The swimming pool was nice and large, with walk in steps. The owners, Barry and Sharon were lovely and so helpful, with lots of advice on where to visit and eat. We went on a boat trip on the river Baise, the staff were very helpful as I am in a wheelchair. I would recommend this holiday to everyone, we had such a lovely relaxing time.

“Small, but perfectly formed. Friendly hosts and everything you could wish for!”

Reviewed 2 Sep 2013

A fantastic holiday rental! Sharon and Barry were the most welcoming host and hostess. The property was perfectly clean and had everything you could ever wish for both inside and out. Although the property was small, it was more than enough room for my partner and I, plus our two teenage girls. It had a Wii, DVD player and DVDs, WiFi and Sky TV. The pool was the perfect size for swimming and messing about, and had all manner of toys and inflatables to play with. Best of all, we made three lovely friends in Barry, Sharon and Angus the dog. We even made friends with the neighbours! Thoroughly recommended to all!

“Excellent facilities, great hosts”

Reviewed 13 Jul 2013

Despite the weather the Gite is extremely well equipped, my teenage son was happy because of the wi-fi which is a huge bonus! Barry, Sharon & Angus was friendly accommodating hosts. We would highly recommend, especially if the weather was great!
