Description from owner

Description

Gite de Lol is a superb traditional cottage in the heart of the Perigord Noir. It is situated just fifteen minutes from the medieval town of Sarlat and is close to the Quercy area. Located in the heart of a sleepy hamlet called Lol, you are just a ten-minute drive away from four villages voted the most beautiful in France : Domme, Beynac, La Roque-Gageac and Castelnaud.

The old farmhouse has been completely renovated and features wooden beams, stone walls with plenty of character. The cottage comprises two bedrooms upstairs (one double bedroom and a second one with two single beds), a bathroom, a kitchen with all the amenities and a large sitting-room. Two extra beds allow two more people to sleep. The garden is shaded, there is a possibility of outdoor dining with a barbecue. With quiet and relaxing surroundings, the environment is ideal for children. In the garden, you will find a plunge pool, swings, a trampoline, a wooden hut and a sandpit to keep the children occupied.

In the area, typical leisure activities include:

* discoveries of the local gastronomy : daily markets, visits of the neighbouring geese farms.
