Close to beaches. Sleeps 12 with supplement for an extra 3. Solar heated pool *with Roman-style steps (no ladders), fully fenced. Ideal property for family get-togethers in the farmhouse kitchen or in the spacious living areas, 8 big bedrooms, 4 bathrooms & 5 WCs, hair dryers. (This web site has put 5 bathrooms and it seems impossible to remove it!) Kiddy play areas indoors and out, child friendly with stair gates. Free WiFi. Cleaning lady optional during the week. Big, spacious & loaded with rustic charm, the owners have managed to retain the old-world look to the property all the while making it a comfortable and delightful venue for your holiday. Traditional furniture and fittings, lots of interesting and historic features. Built in cut stone in the traditional local style, full CH, this is the ideal venue for a family holiday at any time of year. Bikes for hire, to include kiddy seats and helmets. There is also good golf and bird watching in the area. Pets sometimes accepted by prior arrangement and at a supplement

Cook, cleaner and babysitter possible - please enquire - if required. There are cots and high chairs & linen available (small supplements). Owners and staff within easy reach in case of extra requirements. Nice BBQ area with fountains, garden furniture. Short stroll in to countryside, village or short drive (a few minutes) to beaches. Highly recommended. Bedrooms:king size bed with en-suite twin bedroom and bathroom, double bedroom with 2 prince beds (ie much wider than singles but not quite as wide as a double; antiques)

A wonderful swimming pool 12m x 6m all fenced in with big sun-lounging area. Large grounds entirely walled-in. The back gate leads to a woodland footpath which takes you in a matter of minutes to the village (most essential shops). Sand pit, swings slide and table tennis room.

“Huge property with nice pool in great location”

Property was great for our extended family of four couples and two small children. Location is convenient to all sorts of attractions. There are five huge double bedrooms and lots of other beds in various areas, some of which are off other bedrooms. Ample cutlery, crockery etc and washing machine, dryer and dishwasher all very welcome. On site staff are very helpful but speak no English (but we are in France so can't complain about that!!) Overall very happy except for two quibbles. The pool area was lovely but the water was not solar heated, as advertised. In September this meant the water was too chilly for our two toddlers. The other thing to bear in mind is that if you pay for towels and sheets, you don't get a change after the first week unless you pay for another set. Overall though we were able to have an enjoyable holiday in this property.

“Wonderful country chateau with pool”

I stayed with my extended family and our children in this gorgeous chateau. Fully equipped, plenty of room for the kids to run around and a large pool with decking and sunloungers. Ideal for us and not far from all the beaches and main towns, although the local village has a shop and a baker within walking distance. This was a great place for our holiday and we will certainly go again.

Owner's reply: It was nice to meet you while you were here, albeit so briefly. I'm so glad you liked the property and that the children had such a good time. Safety is always out main concern and I know from experience how an unsafe place can ruin a holiday - so good, glad all went well and we look forward to seeing you again.
