Very clean, safe and accessible (single-story, level) accommodations in the Land Park District.

Smoke-Free, Pet-Free, Drug-Free, Shoeless household with indoor slippers and shoecovers available upon request.

Private room that you can lock with your own key; your own private bathroom with separate tub and shower with unlimited, on-demand hot-water. There are no other guests, other than yourselves, so you will be pampered!

Quiet, peaceful retreat...sorry, no home parties here...not a party house.

Convenient and accessible, upscale setting; walking distance to City Zoo and Land Park Public Golf Course. Close to Sacramento River and Bike Trail. Two Bicycles available for use (with signed release of liability).

Just minutes away from Downtown (2-miles to City Center / Golden One Center), Old Town and Convention Center. Walking distance to Tower Theater/Cafe ("Ladybird" is playing!) and Sprouts Organic Supermarket.

1 mile distance from variety of restaurants (Japanese/Sushi, Korean, Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Ethiopian, Macao, Pizza, Burgers & Brews) that also deliver.

Private Courtyard with outdoor kitchen BBQ, Pizza Oven. Enjoy the Hot Tub and Game/Billiard Room.

Quiet, safe, walk-able (or run-able!) neighborhood. Single-story residence has easy, level access for those with knee issues or accessibility issues.

Plentiful Free Parking in front of residence.

Free and Fast WiFi, and Laptop in Room. Can print-out boarding passes!

Wonderful place to kickback with a complementary glass of wine or brew and snacks after a long day.

If you are a "Foodie," there are regularly scheduled Food Truck Mania within walking distance near the Zoo in Land Park (see Yelp and Google "Food Truck Mania Schedules Land Park"). Also, Food Network's "Diner, Drive-In & Dive" Restaurants are nearby with incredible grub (as seen on TV)!

15 minutes from Sacramento International Airport. Pre-arranged Shuttle Service by the host for a fraction of the cost of local Taxis and comparable to Lyft and Uber (no tips needed!, advance notice required)

Getting around

The Regional Transit is located a block away; the Light Rail Transit is about 1 mile (1.6 Km); Downtown City Center is 2.3 miles (3.7 Km) Rental cars are available at airport. I can provide shuttle transport for fraction of cost of taxis and comparable to UBER or LYFT (need to arrange in advance) The Amtrak Train is about 2.3 miles (3.7 Km) from residence as well! Sacramento is spread-out and special attractions are accessible by car.

We are typically available during your stay if you have any questions or require assistance; but we are respectful of your privacy. You will be provided your own key to come and go as you please and lock your room during your stay. There are binders in your room listing local restaurant menus, travel books on things to do in the immediate area. We can help you with planning, just give us a call!

House rules

We do not allow shoes in our home. Our place is especially suited for folks with allergies; we very neat and clean, free of allergens...(even have "allergen free" pillow covers and mattress encasements!).
Guest cannot host parties or gatherings in our home during their stay; you certainly meet/greet and visit, but respect quiet times and be respectful of premises at all times...thank you!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
