A well equipped lakeside apartment set in award winning parkland only a few minutes walk from the town square of Rhuthun. This Welsh market town steeped in history, set in the vale of Clwyd, is the perfect location to explore all that North Wales has to offer. As relaxing or adventurous as you choose! Walking distance to all amenities. Ideally located to explore North Wales, Blue Flag beaches, Snowdonia National Park, Liverpool, and the City of Chester.Well placed to visit the latest adventure attractions -Zip wires,Zorbing ,White water rafting,Jet boats,Underground Trampolines ! ,mountain biking ,fishing ,Walking and Hiking ! Property includes:

Double bedroom with patio doors overlooking lake and a sliding curtains that opens to the lounge. Second bedroom has full-size bunk beds + 1 single with TV and en-suite bathroom. Travel cot available if needed.

Dining area and well-equipped galley kitchen with w/machine, t/dryer & small f/freezer. Lounge has Sky TV (family mix), DVD, video, wireless internet, books and films.also we will have p s 3 and games from jan 2014.
The shower room off the hallway consists of shower, basin and toilet.The 2nd bedroom has ensuite bath and shower also with toilet and basin.
If you have children, the second bedroom offers private facilities such as TV, wi-fi connection and an en-suite bathroom. Parents can then open the lounge curtain partition and enjoy Sky TV from their bed. The cosy lighting effect from the log electric fire in the lounge, together with the patio doors to the lakeside balcony, offers a romantic setting for couples with privacy from the second bedroom occupants.

The lounge has 1x 3 person settee and 2 single cosy chairs. Also, for additional seating, there are2 upholstered backless stools which can be used anywhere.

The property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and overlooks a lake and parkland.

Parking is 2 yards from apartment entrance. There is no traffic of people or cars so vehicles are relatively secured. For guests who bring bicycles, we have a lockable garage for storage if required.

There is a bench located at the entrance of the apartment.

The balcony has a new dinning area for 2014 ! with relaxing chairs to enjoy the peace and stunning waterside views !!

We have a ramp available for wheel chair users. There are no inside steps. No additional disabled alterations have been made.

There is a bus station outside the town hall [only 5 minutes walk from the apartment] there is a service to Rhyl [beaches and shops] and to Chester [historic city and massive shopping areas] and Wrexham [largest Welsh town and good shoping ]bus journey times are under an hour to these towns and there are mainline railway stations in each also.There are numerous taxi services available in Ruthin also

We respect your privacy and we will not call on you unless requested ...we are nearby and only a phone call away if you need anything We are aware that customers are booking with us for use of the hot tub ,in the unlikely event of a breakdown of the tub we will contact the manufacturers to carry out repairs A.S.A.P.[at our expense ]our rental prices for the property however are set at comparable prices for similar properties in the area [that do not have hot tubs ]so it is unlikely that we can compensate for any time that the tub is not working due to circumstances beyond our control.

“Just what we needed”

Gorgeous little place which was perfect for what we needed. The location was lovely and peaceful and the hot tub was an added bonus. Great that we could take the dog too!

Absolutely amazing property in a great location that has everything you need plus more. Very easy to find and during stay in just a short walking into the town. Lovely location that is not overlooked when sat on the balcony or in the hot tub. Lovely little touches in the apartment, basically you just need to bring your clothes and have a relaxing time. Not been to Wales for years but will definitely be returning and I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to escape the real world.

Easy to book and pay for this holiday home.excellent comunication from Gary the owner ,This cottage was perfect in so many ways ,It was a home from home with everything you could possibly need on a break away.The couple who rent this accomadation have put a lot of love and attention to detail into this property.we only met gary this time who was very nice to have a chat to and was very welcomimg .There is lots of places to eat and drink nearby and is a very good base to walk or travel around north wales.We will definately be back but think we will have to book well in advance because this little gem will soon be booked all year around it deserves a 5 star award..

We had a lovely stay in ruthin. The property was very cosy and clean and in a beautiful location on the river. The town is very pretty and people were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.

Did the swan have her babies? She was on her nest for the 10 days we were there. We hoped to see the little cygnets before we left. The cottage had everything we could need for our stay. Was very peaceful and we enjoyed our daily walk around the park.

“The selling point was the balcony and it didn't disappoint.”

We had a wonderful weekend at this apartment. There was everything we needed and the layout was good. It was so nice to find the fridge stocked with milk and beer. We used the balcony so much, having our first night evening meal on it, then morning coffees and culminating with sharing a bottle of heated Mead on our final evening. It was brilliant to sit across from the park, shielded by the lakes island and I was constantly feeding the Ducks and Swans, fabulous. Parking was outside the property and Ruthin was a lovely place to visit, with plenty of places to eat out and also some takeaways close by. The apartment is a great base to explore the surrounding area, with many places close by, Denbigh Castle, Loggerheads Country Park, Conwy Falls and Swallow Falls. This was perfect for us to celebrate our Wedding anniversary and we also had plenty of chilled relaxation. We would love to return, maybe with our family in tow. We have already been recommending the apartment to friends who were impressed with our photos of the place.
