This Beach House is right ON the beach nestled just above the sand and lapping waves. The perfect nest to relax, unwind and rejuvenate. Enjoy the unique surround vistas and attractions only the Bay of Islands can offer. Experience birdlife, dolphins frolicking off shore and superb year round sunsets. You may even see a pod of passing Orca whales. Wander onto the beach hand in hand and explore secluded bays – or just sit back and be entertained by the constant procession of passing boats.

Situated at Tapeka Point, Russell, this cozy one bedroom beach house has a queen bed with stunning sea views and the sound of the waves. If you need to share the living room has a queen sofa bed and a ottoman that converts to a small single bed. This is not a spare room, apartment or basement flat with onside owners. You will enjoy exclusive use in total privacy.

Breathtaking unobstructed 270 degree views extend from Waitangi out into the Bay. There is no road between the Crib and beach, no traffic noise and no tourists walking past. Relax on the covered verandah or outside in the sun on a bean bag. Leave your towel behind as the all tide swimming beach and diving pontoon is only a few steps away. Enjoy a HOT outdoor shower when you return. Air conditioned for year round comfort.

Tapeka Beach Bach has a full kitchen if you wish to self-cater, collect a take out, use the BBQ or enjoy a romantic meal on the Russell waterfront, just two minutes away.

Facilities include an espresso machine, TV, DVD, free WiFi internet access and washing machine. Quality linen, towels and post stay cleaning is included in the nightly rate. Single kayak, double kayak, dinghy to explore the point and secluded bays. Relax under the surround veranda or in the sun on a cape cod chair, bean bags or deck chairs

The beach house is small and set up for guests to enjoy the outdoor living so we can understand cabin fever setting in. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Clive (the owner) a message.

If Clive (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
