William III and Queen Mary didn't stay here… but their painter did!

Great for a family or larger group, this split-level apartment benefits from two bedrooms, one with en-suite and a separate bathroom. The apartment has been recently renovated to a high standard with lot of yummy details to enjoy.

Ground Floor

Upon entering the hallway; with lovely solid oak flooring you have access to the 2 bedroom as ground level. Both bedrooms area beautifully decorated and are lovely and light. The master bedroom has fabulous views of the Scott's Monument, Princes Street and even Fife on a clear day. The en-suit shower room has a spacious walk in shower, sink and WC.

Lower Ground Floor

The apartment is built the sloping Advocates Close so the living area is on the lower ground floor. Don't worry our floors are completely horizontal! There is a lovely light sitting room with comfy seating for 4 as well as a dining area, flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod docking station

The modern kitchen has is a single oven, hob, full size fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave and integrated dishwasher.

It's hard to believe that you are 30 seconds from the Royal Mile staying in this quite apartment tucked away on one of Edinburgh's most famous closes dating back to 1544! The Close was home to John Scougall, painter to William III and Queen Mary in 1570.

If arriving by car please be aware that there is no parking on the Royal Mile, however there is a local NCP on Castle Terrace about 10 minutes away from the apartment.

This apartment is perfect for exploring Edinburgh for couples, families and groups.
