“Deerleap is an "I hope we go back there someday" cottage!”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2014

Deerleap Cottage is a special place for a family wanting a bit of space to relax while touring the area. It is thoughtfully and well equipped, very comfortably furnished, situated in a beautiful setting on an estate with use of a private guest garden, with friendly, helpful owners nearby. A generous welcome basket awaited us on arrival. Many conveniences lay in the village just outside the gate, such as shops, pubs, train station, and we managed to fill an entire week plus with delightful activities in the vicinity--Arundel Castle, beaches, the Mary Rose in Portsmouth, market day in Chichester, and more. Our family, 3 adults and an 11- year old, were reluctant to leave this lovely rental, one of the very best in the past 10 years!

Thank you for your review. It is really great to know you enjoyed your stay at The Cottage at Deerleap. It is a lovely cottage in a really great location and we do hope we can help you again in the future. Kind regards, Pallant Holiday Lets

“A peaceful retreat”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2013

An excellently appointed rental cottage behind a high wall in the peaceful village of Rowlands Castle and very close to the village amenities and Portsmouth to Waterloo railway line. Approached through electronically controlled gates and set next to the main house known as Deerleap. The owners are very accommodating and friendly and the cottage exceeded our expectations. We stayed a month between house moves and were sorry to leave. Highly recommended.

Thank you for your review and we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay at The Cottage at Deerleap so much. Kind regards, Pallant Holiday Lets
