Description

Welcome to our beautiful 18th Century stone farmhouse, set in the most spectacular French countryside.

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in a very comfortable and totally authentic French farmhouse, you’ve come to the right place. Dating back to 1764, the house is everything you’d imagine a French farmhouse to be and more.

Typically Perigourdian, the house has bags of rustic charm, with stone walls, oak beams and a huge fireplace. However, to ensure maximum comfort during your stay, certain aspects of the house have been modernised. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms have been renovated to include a walk in Italian shower and extra-large bath. And here at La Maison des Fleurs, we take sleep very seriously. So to help you enjoy lots of lovely long holiday lie ins, our beds are of the highest quality and are either king or super king sized.

The house itself sits in mature gardens, with a large plunge pool and outdoor kitchen and dining

The house itself sits in mature gardens, with a large plunge pool and outdoor kitchen and dining area. And to top it off, a much loved chill out area, with low seating and piles of cushions, inspired by our time in Asia.

However, what makes this property really special are the views. Sitting in the gardens with a glass of wine on a warm summers evening, watching the spectacular sunsets over the valley and the chateau, we guarantee, will take your breath away.

On arrival you will find a bottle of local wine, homemade preserves and freshly laid eggs waiting for you in the house. We also have a completely organic vegetable and fruit garden, where you can pick your own raspberries, cherries, tomatoes, nectarines, courgettes and lots more, as well as an abundance of fresh herbs. And finally our lovely ladies are here to provide you with warm freshly laid eggs for breakfast.

We aim to give our guests a holiday with a difference, filled with special memories for you to take home and cherish forever.
