Very Good

“Nice quiet relaxing holiday location”

Very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Barns, the location was great for exploring the local area. Nice walks exploring very near by. the hosts were very welcoming and the facilities were of a high standard. Wifi helped the kids stay in touch with their friends. All in all a great week

“Contemporary accommodation in a quiet country setting”

A beautiful barn conversion, well-appointed and very spacious bedrooms. Open plan living accommdation is on the small side in comparison to the space upstairs but still plenty of room for every holiday need. Safe playing for children in the fenced-off garden area. Nigel and Amy very friendly and approachable hosts who make you feel very welcome. Lovely pub in the village only a short walk from Villa barns which serves fabulous food at reasonable prices.

“Clean, compact, tasteful decor and welcoming hosts in quiet rural village.”

We had a wonderful week at Villa Barns in this quiet rural location. The property was very tastefully decorated to a very good standard. All linen and towels were of a good quality. As a new property there were one or two items which may have proved useful to us which were not there but this has since been rectified. We appreciated the welcome pack and the warm welcome by the hosts who live opposite. Plenty to do and see in the area from the countryside to the beaches. The only downside which we soon got used to was that we were surprised at the size of the living room/kitchen area as from the photograph we thought that the whole property was Villa Barns whereas in fact there is an office and store room closed off for the use of the host family. This may appear a bit misleading when you book. However the price reflects this as it was so reasonable for the time of year that we went and played a large part in our choice. We felt that we had got more than our money's worth. We had a wonderful stay enjoying the small garden area for sitting out in and the balcony from the second bedroom is a lovely touch and the wireless internet much appreciated. We would certainly recommend others to stay here.

“Wonderful Cottage in a peaceful but not remote area”

Beautiful Barn conversion, very modern. Large spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Compact but perfectly pleasant Living/ Dining / Kitchen area. Lovely sunny aspect to the whole house. Plenty mod cons too... dishwasher, washing machine etc. No mobile phone signal inside house but with a teenager that was quite pleasant. Found the closest town for decent shopping was Grimsby. Neighbouring Cleethorpes was a great place for the beach and all the things the kids love ! Good family restaurant at the Pear Tree Cleethorpes/ Grimsby area. Caister was a nice little market town for the essentials ( fantastic Fish and Chips).
