Lovely apartment with a large open balcony, swimming pool, secure parking, step-free lift access, and a centralised air conditioning system serving all rooms. Direct, road-free access to the huge and popular Romanillo beach and promenade.
*** INSIDE THE APARTMENT ***
The roof terrace has a table and chairs, perfect for breakfast in the morning sunshine, as well as two sun loungers. There is a large parasol to cover the terrace during the day and two lights for when you want to relax outside in the evening.
The reception room has a dining table with 6 chairs. There are two comfortable settees for relaxing in with a large flat-screen TV. A selection of DVD and Blu-ray films in several languages are available for entertainment in addition to numerous digital TV channels. The apartment has a fast fibre wi-fi internet.
All windows have external shutters that are perfect for lie-ins. The master bedroom has a double bed and a full en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two single beds.
The fully fitted kitchen should cater for the needs of most chefs. Cooking essentials such as oil, salt and pepper are provided and a large supermarket is a short walk away.
The apartment complies with all safety regulations and includes a first aid kit, smoke alarm and fire extinguisher. If there are any issues with the apartment, we fix them as soon as possible, and on the same day if possible - we pride ourselves on giving you a particularly memorable holiday for the right reasons!
*** THE APARTMENT COMPLEX AND SWIMMING POOL ***
The apartment has a dedicated parking space in the garage underneath the complex. The lift from the garage takes you straight to the front door of the apartment without steps, making it suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The complex has a 25 metre swimming pool (open June to September), which previous guests describe as the cleanest and best they has used. The pool has underwater lights for swimming after dark, which is an amazing experience!
All of the apartments in the complex are privately-owned, mostly by wealthier Spanish people as beachside retreats, and the communal areas are very clean and well looked after.
The apartment overlooks the promenade and a large beach, which always has lots of space and is considered by many locals as the best for swimming in Roquetas de Mar. The port and the town centre are a short walk from the apartment and have numerous bars, restaurants, shops and other facilities.
*** IS THIS APARTMENT FOR YOU? ***
The apartment is very popular with families during the peak summer season.
Outside of peak times, we've found retired guests really love the views, easy access to the apartment and town, and the comfortable lifestyle in the apartment. It's also popular with couples looking for a week away and those with babies - we will supply a travel cot if required at no extra cost.
Those looking for a party would be better located near the nightclubs in Aguadulce, which is 5 km away.
The apartment is well-suited to three adults or a family with up to two children, but we think it is a little small for more than three adults.
*** LICENSING ***
All short-term rental properties in Andalucia must be registered with the regional government. Properties must meet high standards - with cooling and heating for summer and winter, sheets and towels, safety equipment, information about appliances, etc.
If you want to rent an apartment for a period of less than 2 months then make sure it has been registered. All apartments are required to display the license number - ours is VFT/AL/02130. Otherwise, you'll be at risk of the regional government cancelling your holiday or even evicting you while you are there.

“Absolutely Amazing Holiday”
A lovely apartment in a truly perfect location. Everything we needed was provided for and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Owners Paul and Saray were incredibly helpful and friendly - really nice people. They were always contactable and more than happy to offer help/advice. The info pack provided was the best we have received on a holiday. The apartment had really fast internet which kept our boys happy. The pool and beach are on the door step and EVERY other town attraction/amenity just a short stroll away. A fantastic time had by all.

“Wonderful relaxing holiday right on the beach!”
We had an amazing time staying in Roquetes de Mar. Waking up and watching the sun rise over the sea from the balcony. We walked along the promenade to the local tapas cafes and bars. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you could need for a family holiday, beach toys, chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen was fully stocked. The air conditioning was perfect for cooling us down after a hot stint by the pool or on the beach. The pool was clean and our boys enjoyed jumping in again and again. The information from Paul before our stay was absolutely brilliant and the welcome and key handover in Spain was brilliantly easy. The flexibility over departure times really helped our holiday to end in the same relaxing way as it began. Highly recommend this penthouse which is situated in the quieter end of Roquetes and perfect for relaxing. For us the only downside was that the beach is shingle not sand and they can occasionally have a problem with jellyfish in the bay. They have nets around the bay to stop the larger jellyfish and catching the smaller ones that got through became a bit of a game on the beach.

Apartment right on beach. What beautiful sea views beach & prom were spotless. Not a busy resort with few bars cafes along beach front. Resort was wee bit quiet for me.Walking distance to large shopping centre &only short bus ride to Almeria. Main highlight was sunsets from balcony.
“Lovely apartment, Fabulous views.”
We had a lovely stay in Roquetas and were very grateful to the owner's relatives who came to our rescue. Unfortunately we had suffered a puncture in Roquetas after picking up the hire car from the airport and had to wait 3 hours for a replacement tyre. We were so grateful when Sayah kindly came and picked up our children and took them to the pool to relax. She also kindly left us water and fruit - much needed after a journey. The apartment provided all that a family of four needed and the most wonderful balcony with a fantastic view of the seascape and surrounding mountains. The apartment was very secure within a Spanish family gated community, 5 minutes walk from shops, supermarkets and restaurants. There is a water park 3 km away and mini Hollywood makes a good day out. You can reach Almeria easily by bus - so car hire isn't necessary. We had fabulous food, balmy nights with starry skies, swimming in the pool at night. We had a thoroughly relaxing time and hope to return again one day.
“Lovely apartment in super location”
We had a great stay in Paul's beachfront apartment. Everything you could want in an apartment rental. Big bowl of fresh fruit was very welcome. Nice and fresh sheets and towels and comfortable seating. This was very welcome as it was too hot to venture very far on some days. Kitchen had all you could need and the big balcony was ideal for relaxing. A very secure and safe residence with a lift, which was essential as we were on the 6th floor. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic top floor frontline appartment with amazing views and with everything you need. Secure underground parking, magnificent residents swimming pool. Very secure appartment block in quiet area. A short walk to bars, restaurants and shops.
“Very modern apartment with direct access to large beach and pool”
This is an excellent, modern apartment with no flaws. Spacious rooms and large terrace facing the sea. Everything is new and good quality. Bedrooms/bathrooms include plenty of sheets and towels (bath and beach). Living room includes dinner table and chairs, two comfy sofas and loads of channels and movies on the new flat screen TV. Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. Wifi very fast. The terrace was bigger than expected with a great view. Air conditioning works great (it actually broke down during our stay and after notifying the owner somebody came the next day and fixed the problem). The building is clean and modern. The pool is large, clean with warm water - one of the best I've seen. And the beach is two steps away, very wide so never crowded. The promenade is great for evening strolls. The town centre is a 5-10 minute walk away. I recommend the Mercadona supermarket. There are also bars, restaurants, banks, post office within a short walk. Importantly, the communication with the owner was excellent. Everything was done to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
