Our first floor apartment sleeps four comfortably but can sleep up to six people with the use of a sofa bed. The main bedroom has a king size bed, the second has twin beds and a third room (our Quiet or Relaxation room) has a double sofa bed. The apartment has a fully fitted kitchen, large bathroom with shower over bath and a roof terrace with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and the Serrania de Ronda mountain ranges. There is also a log burning stove and central heating which are very useful during the winter months.- Ideally situated for all local amenities and tourist attractions- Many bars and restaurants close by (from low cost tapas to Michelin star!)- Perfect to use as your base to explore Andalucia - Seville, Granada, Cordoba and the coastal resorts- It is also possible to take a train from Ronda to Algeciras and then the high speed ferry across to Morroco - Surrounded by typical Spanish white villages that are all well worth a visit - Set in beautiful countryside

- The apartment is cleaned and linens / bedding changed before and after EVERY letting
- The usual changeover day is Saturday but this can be flexible

The apartment has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a quiet relaxation room which has a double sofa bed that can be made available on request at extra cost.The terrace provides stunning views of the surrounding mountain ranges and is equipped with patio furniture and a BBQ to help you enjoy alfresco meals and is perfect for relaxing on warm summer evenings.As the apartment is part of an old Spanish house, it keeps very cool during the typically hot summer days however, for those chilly winter evenings it is centrally heated and there is also a wood burning stove in the lounge for your comfort.

Parking in Ronda can be an experience! The town centre has many narrow roads and so parking can sometimes be a challenge. However, it is usually easy to find a space in the streets close to the apartment and there are also public car parks available in the town.Ronda has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools that are within walking distance however the outdoor pool is only open between June and September.There is a tennis club just outside Ronda and several horse riding schools close by.There are numerous museums, places of worship and other interesting tourist attractions within a short walking distance.

Although one of the oldest cities in Spain, with a history which dates back to the mists of time, it was only in the Middle Ages that Ronda finally came into its own, achieving the status of an independent kingdom under Arabic rule. There are plazas in the surrounding streets where one can take coffee and drinks together with the wonderful local tapas. The narrow streets are full of interest with white washed walls, cobblestones and many beautiful churches and historic buildings.The parks and the architecture are a joy, spend an afternoon at the Mondragon Palace once the residence of Kings. The cool patios and jasmine scented gardens with the refreshing sound of fountains, it is easy to imagine oneself back in time when the Moors ruled this part of Spain.Ronda is a special place; it is one of those places that pulls you back time after time. One never tires of its beauty. Along side all of this culture, are many modern day shops where one can buy almost anything. The restaurants are many and some are famed for their gastronomic excellence. Ronda although visited by tourists from all over the world has not been spoilt or over run.Wander the streets at your own pace and take in the magnificent architecture, sit for a while in one of the many delightful little squares and just breathe in the atmosphere.You might take a horse-drawn carriage and clip clop around the main tourist sights or if you are feeling a little more energetic take a guided walking tour.Nearby, there is a huge variety of activities available, including painting, photography, bird-watching, climbing, horse-riding, paragliding and a host of other interesting pursuits.The town centre has a range of shops and supermarkets with a daily food market and a flea market held every Sunday morning.
