Getting around

Yes, you are lucky, since you dont need any transport to visit all main sites in Rome. You need just to walk with your nose up and you can reach easily the Vatican city along the river Tiber or along the prestigious Via del Corso with all shops of all quality, you can reach Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum or on the other side the marvellous Piazza del Popolo with the twins churches and the lovely view of the Pincio the balcony of Villa Borghese. No bother to get any Roma Pass because it will be a loss of money. If you are tired you need to take a metro for 1,5 euro avoiding paying huge amount of money for any Pass. Metro A (red one) is at 3 minutes walking from apartment. A taxi station is at the end of Via Vittoria in piazza di Spagna.

Interaction with guest

I will provide my guest most of my knowledge to vbetter organize they stay in Rome before they come and while they stay. I dont live in the apartment byt at abour 45 minutes by bus, byt always connected via email or whats up and often, when I am free from my grandma activity and my volonter clown in hospital, I love to interact with them for a drink or a coffee to show some of my favourite places in Rome. This is the benefit to host people by knowing different cultures and people from all ov er the world.

Very Good

“Excellent pied a terre in central Rome”

Reviewed 12 Jun 2014

Antonia is very well organised. The shuttle option from the airport id the best. The guy she recommends is 6ft 6in plus not easy to miss. The apartment is central to everything you could wish to see in Rome and convenient for buses and the metro. Antonias comprehensive directions found us good restaurants and saved us time at the Vatican and the

Owner's reply: Thank you for your feedback, it has been very nice of you and I really am happy when guests are satisfied. Hope to have you again in Rome in my apartment

“No better base for the Eternal City”

Reviewed 30 May 2014

The apartment is clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. It is situated in an incredible location which enabled us to explore the city on foot. It is in a good area which on odd occasions was noisy but only to be expected in a city centre at the weekend. Antonia was incredibly helpful from the start We booked the airport shuttlebus which was waiting for us. A very pleasant driver who pointed out the sights on our journey to the apartment. Booked online some sights which saved the long queues. Handy supermarket 2 minutes away. We loved taking an evening stroll in the nearby pincio park after sampling the local bars and restaurants. Mondo arancino .... Fantastic and excellent value Sicilian pizzas and desserts ..through the arch off piazza Popollo.. We can only say we had a wonderful holiday and can't speak highly enough about the experience

Owner's reply: Thank you for your nice and extensive feedback. Very pleased to have met you personally and happy you enjoyed your stay. I hope to have you again in the future :-)

“Great location, well equipped, cozy, and close to many attractions and eateries”

Reviewed 7 Jan 2014

We stayed here for three nights and would stay again. The apartment is nicely furnished, clean, spacious for a one bedroom and very well equipped - wifi, TV, DVD, printer, plenty of cooking utensils and crockery, kettle, etc. It being winter it kept nice and warm. The bed is very comfortable which is a nice change from apartments furnished with cheap uncomfortable mattresses! Location wise it is a very short walk from Spanish steps, on a narrow roman street, and you can walk to all main attractions (we did not need any transport at all asides from airport transfers). It has a supermarket next door which is very handy, although provides the only negative which is that it can be noisy very early in the morning if they are taking deliveries (we used earplugs). There can be some noise from neighbouring restaurants too. Antonia was incredibly helpful from beginning to end, provides useful recommendations, and helped welcome us by arranging for some basics to be there as we arrived on a public holiday. It is also close to many lovely places to wander round and also eat. Some great ones were Enoteca Palatium for very nice food, great value plus a range of Lazio wines, Enoteca Antica for a drink, Di Qua for the aperitivo (drink and snacks in early evening), and Gusto wine bar and Osteria. We would recommend this and return.

Owner's reply: Dear guest, thank you for your excellent and extensive feedback. It makes me happy when guests are more than satisfied of their stay. This is my main objective and I do all is under my control to make the best of the apartment. I do really hope you are coming back to Rome soon and will try to meet you even for a short coffee. I wish you all the best for the coming year. Antonia

“Great location, at walking distance to major places in Rome”

Reviewed 2 Jan 2014

Very nice apartment, close to Piazza Espagna and via del Corso. Having a supermarket just in the door is very convenient, although some noise in the mornings while loading the godos was not that nice. Great experience with the owner and very clean

Owner's reply: Thank you for your feedback and happy to have been of help for your stay. Staying in the center of Rome is like a medal, you have double sides and one cannot be separated from the other, but the benefits to be in the hearth of the eternal city is unique .... I wish you all the best for this new year and thank you again :-)

“Personal and thoughtful service”

Reviewed 5 Nov 2012

We didn't stay in the apartment as we couldn't travel due to a family emergency. But thought I should share that the service we received was first class. The local and tourist information we were sent prior to our trip was brilliant and had helped us plan our trip (including transfers). Once we informed the owner we couldn't travel, the response was quick and personal. If the apartment is anything like the service I would highly recommend to anyone. We look forward to staying in the apartment in the future.

Owner's reply: Dear E. I do really appreciate your unexpected review and still sorry for the inconvenience occurred to you. I hope your child is better and as I said to you, next time you want to come to Rome, you will have one day free on your stay. All the best to you and all the family, thanking you again for your kind words.

“La Dolce Vita!”

Reviewed 20 Nov 2011

Often, the description and even photos of an apartment do not live up to the real experience. This was not the case with the wonderful apartment near the Spanish Steps. It was a perfect location. Close to the famous Rome site yet tucked away in a quiet and charming street. The apartment provided for all our needs including shops nearby for all of our necessities. The metro was minutes away which connected easily to the main train station. The apartment was roomy and well equipped. We were met upon arrival and given all necesary instructions. All was done with professionalism but also a personal touch. The only slight blemish which was not the fault of the owner was the slight noise early each morning as a nearby grocery store restocked for the day. Carts pushed/pulled over a cobbled street do make a bit of clatter. Still, this all seemed part of the experience of living in this wonderful City of Roma!

Owner's reply: Thank you! I am so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay.

“Wonderful, spacious apartment in a fantastic location.”

Reviewed 16 Nov 2011

We stayed 10 wonderful nights in this well appointed apartment. It was clean, spacious and located in a very good area of Rome. The apartment was equipped with everything to make our stay enjoyable and was fresh and comfortable. The Spanish Steps are close by as are many cafes and restaurants. We felt very safe walking around the area at night. Whilst the apartment is in very close proximity to many attractions, it is in a quiet street away from the tourist crowds. There is a supermarket a couple of doors away. We loved our stay here and would consider returning to stay at a later time.

Owner's reply: Had the chance to meeting you personally for an emergency to the check in manager and it was really a pleasure and a gift. Thank you for your review!

“Perfect location for sightseeing”

Reviewed 7 Nov 2011

This apartment is in a great location just off Via del Corso in the north of Rome. From there we walked to all the main sights. The apartment itself is bright and well sized but cosy.

Owner's reply: thank you for your fedback.
