ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD

It's called "Rione Monti" and it is the most ancient and charming district in Rome.

In the neighborhood there are lots of restaurants, wine shops, Lounge Bar, Pub and much more, however the building is not attached to any of those places and the walls of the apartment are more than a meter thick, so your sleep will be very peaceful!

GETTING AROUND

The apartment is ON the Imperial Forums, in front of the main door of the building you'll find Augustus Forums and the Trajan Markets. Literally few steps away there are Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Capitol Hill, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc., walking just for 5-10 minutes.

In Piazza Venezia there is an important hub of buses, so you can reach any area of Rome, even the most remote one! With two metro stations nearby (Colosseo subway stop and Cavour stop) becomes easy reach San Pietro, Castel Sant'Angelo, Via Veneto and many other interesting venues, however reachable by a pleasant walk.

IS THIS AREA SAFE?

Well, you'll have as neighbors our President of Republic at the Quirinale and the Mayor of Rome at Campidoglio, so yes, I guess the area is pretty safe! Anyway Rome is a big city, so if you are alone in the middle of the night just don't ask "what time is it?" to sinister shadows in the dark! :P

“Lovely home in the perfect spot”

Reviewed 25 Apr 2015

No wonder one of the most important criteria when choosing accomodation is Location! This little gem of apartment provided us exactly what we were looking for. We did not need to move with/against the crowd, as we were part of the city and could immerse into its beauty without much effort. The home was well equipped and nicely furnished, fulfilled all our dreams.

“Couldn't be better location!”

Reviewed 31 Mar 2015

Our recent stay in this nice apartment was excellent. It is a great location to see many historic sites. The area was very quiet. This is right in the heart of Rome. The apartment had everything we needed. The large king bed was a real plus. The owners picked us up at the airport which made things much easier. We had great Wi-Fi service. The owners are very close by and available at all times. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone that would like to be so close to the Coliseum and many other wonderful sites.

“Amazing!”

Reviewed 8 Mar 2015

The location is perfect, only a few meters away from the Colisseo and with stunning views of the Foro Imperiale as soon as you open the street door. The flat is one of the neatest I came across with and every single detail is perfectly took care of: beddings and towels, breakfast and cooking basics, kitchen items, tourist guides and books and even souvenirs on sale in case you didn't have time to buy them! It has a washing machine, detergents and a nice place to hang your clothes, something really useful when traveling! The bathroom has a bath tub and the shower is absolutely nice: perfect pressure, and really easy to regulate (no tricks in finding the right temperature!). The beds are really comfy and everything on the kitchen works perfectly. Wi-fi works fast and we didn't have any problem with it! Giulia came to welcome us and explain us everything and we couldn't be more thankful! She made a map of the surrounding areas for us with useful information such as markets, drugstore, pharmacies and tourist information center. And absolute must if you are planning a holiday in Rome!
