Description

This wide apartment is located a few steps away from Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano and it's ideal for who wants to enjoy an enchanting view of the Basilica di San Giovanni and at the same time have a quiet and relaxing stay. Closely located, the Colosseum and the Roman Forums offer everyday the most beautiful view which you can't miss during your holiday in Rome! It's perfectly connected with the public transport:

- 200 meters away from the metro A San Giovanni stop, which can easily bring you to St. Peter's square, Vatican.

- 10 minute walking to the Colosseo

- 50 meters away from the terminus of the (phone number hidden) bus lines (for the Termini station).

- 50 meters away from the taxi station.

Domusdea apartment with 4 spacious and sunny rooms, provides a perfect holiday environment from which to explore the wonderful city of Rome. It's suitable for up to 8 guests A fully equipped kitchen makes eating in an easy and more affordable alternative to only dining out, and with a homely atmosphere this is perfect place to make your stay a happy one.

There are 4 double bedrooms and only 3 have air conditioned, the forth (the red bedroom) only the ceiling fan. Please keep this in mind if you are going to perform a reservation for 8 people during the summer time.

Are conditioning is provided and included in the quote only from June 1st to September 30th. No air conditioning after September 30th.

Washing machine (no dryer).

Rome City Council decided to charge 3,50 Euros per person per night on tourists who visit Rome. It is implemented from the 01/01/2011.

The city tourist tax as well as the final cleaning fee (80) are not included in the accommodation fee and will be required on arrival.

Getting around

Rome is a very big city so the historic centre is wide. There are some sites, like the Colosseum area, that can be reached walking. The area is anyway very well served by public transportation (subway, bus, tram, taxi). The Central Termini station Termini is about 5 minutes away by car, but you can also get there walking. A car with driver is also available to stroll you around and farther.

Bel appartement conforme à la description près de la basilique St Jean du Latran. 4 grandes chambres, 3 salles de bain. Nous étions 7 et avons été à l'aise. Il n'a malheureusement pas fait suffisamment chaud pour que nous profitions de la terrasse. La propriétaire Luisa est sympathique et accomodante, nous sommes arrivés après 21 h et repartis à 7 h.. Très bon séjour

Just spent 4 nights in Luisa’s apartment, perfect choice for family of 5! Room for everyone to relax after a hard days walking. So close to The Colosseum and easy to get to all points of interest whilst being just that bit further away from the hustle and bustle. Apartment was clean and cosy, had everything we needed. Luisa was welcoming and kind, arranging a driver to pick us up was so helpful. Handy supermarket around the corner but those little supplies on arrival were very useful. Plenty of restaurants nearby, taxi from rank opposite took us straight to the Vatican City to save our legs! (€50) First time renting like this but would definitely do it again, everything was as described and with ‘big’ kids (19,17,12) it was so much more comfortable than a crammed hotel room. Thank you Luisa for allowing us to enjoy your home, am already missing the view of Basilica San Giovanni from the terrace!
