“Room and service was perfect!”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2014

This was a really nice apartment in perfect condition with an owner who gave us the best and most welcome and service. When we first arrived to the train station in Rome we went on a metro to go to the "Cinecitta" station where the owner had offered to take us for a tour around the neighborhood and to let us off at the apartment. Something we really appreciated as it would have been a bit hard to find on our own. Once at the apartment we unloaded our things and then he drove us to the nearby mall where we had to get some money and make a passport copy. After this was done he took us to a really nice place in the mall and offered us drinks and sallad, we were overwhelmed, this was the most warm and polite welcome anyone can receive. We then drove back to the apartment where he gave us directions to all the sights in the city as well as how to get there. The apartment was in a very good state and everything was very modern, from the kitchen utilities to the bathroom, it was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the whole apartment was the perfect size for two persons. There was plenty of storage units for our clothes and all of our things. In the refrigerator there was cold water for us and in the livingroom there were leaflets to close restaurants and tourist attractions in rome. Everything was very well thought out. What we liked the best about the whole stay was the quality of everything which was much more than we had imagined, we expected a nice but worn apartment that was lightly cleaned and the only service being the drop off of the keys and instead we got so much more than that. The only thing that we disliked a bit with the apartment was the location, the walk to the subway was about one kilometer and if you don't want to do that there is a bus that stops nearby the apartment and takes you to the metro (Although we never really found a timetable for it). Either way if your going into Rome it takes about 30 minutes by public transport. But this was something we knew when we booked it and for the price of this wonderful apartment it's still really good. Although what was really nice about the location was that it was right next to the Cinecitta film studios as well as the big mall mentioned earlier. Although we never really explored these parts that much it's nice to have so closely and to know where to go on our next visit. All in all we had a really great stay and we are extremely pleased with the service and standard of the apartment! We would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome!

Owner's reply: Thanks for the beautiful words !!!! I hope to see you soon as guests in my apartment! Ilario
