Location description from owner

The Lazio region

Rome

The area is provided of supermarkets, bars, restuarants, banks and all the main services you would need. It's almost a residential area, out of the hussle and bustle of the city, but close enough to enjoy the heart of Rome.

There are different bus lines that stop close to the apartment and get to St. Peter's in few minutes (you can get there by 15-20 minutes walking, too) as well as to other sites, such as Navona Square, Pantheon, Campo de'Fiori and Venezia Square.

There are some bus lines that get to the nearest metro station in a couple of stops (but you can also walk for about 10 minutes to reach the metro station).

“A place apart is a place like home”

Reviewed 20 Aug 2013

The apartment is very lovely and charming, as is the host Frederica. Even though we arrived very late (nearly midnight), Frederica checked us in without any problem at all, which we appreciated very much. The apartment is completely furnished and everything is in mint condition and neat and clean. If you are not used to having a tiled floor you should put some slippers in your suitcase. The apartment is near St. Peters, with a couple of bus stations nearby, from which about ten different lines depart. Additionally there are two supermarkets, a couple of restaurants, two banks, and two tobacconists (important for buying tickets for the public transportation system) near the apartment. The neighborhood is busy during day but quiet at night, a great advantage in a busy city like Rome. We enjoyed our stay very much and do absolutely recommend this apartment. Frederica was very friendly and helpful not only regarding the apartment but also regarding sights in and around Rome which are not on every tourists agenda but are worth seeing. She was born and raised in Rome, her mother tongue is Italian, she is fluent in English.

Thank you so much for your words! It was a great pleasure to have you two as my guests as well as to have the chance to talk with you about many things. I always try to be on my guests' side and when I can be available even for different check-in schedule, I try to manage things to do it. Of course I didn't want to make you change your flight and lose one day in Rome! I really hope I could meet you again in the future. Thanks a lot!
