"Perfect Provisions for Three Generations of Travelers"
L.I.T.T.L.E. H.O.M.E I.N. R.O.M.E. Loved staying in little Home in Rome. I wish I could go back. The beds were very comfortable. The Big-Little building on the night tour was cool. Loved it. Elevator small, cozy, had to open 3doors. Hotdog sandwiches my mom made from the store we walked to. Outside of our room, the little porch was very nice and calm. Middle of the door there was a door knob. English--It was hard to understand everyone speaking in Italian. Inside LittleHomeInRome was very nice. Nervously flying over the ocean. Really a very nice doggie, Stella. On the last day it rained and a blue umbrella was already there. My dad and I talked on the phone using the internet. Especially cool Colosseum, nice at night. ~7year old daughter, acrostic poem for 2nd grade (minor editing from her mom) "LoveLoveLoved the IKEA furnishings! The whole apartment was very clean & sweetly decorated. The twin beds in my spacious room were perfect, comfortable and warm. What a great way to open and close the blinds (must see and do to fully appreciate). The bathroom looked brand spanking new! --I am still curious concerning that second toilet :o) The kitchen was sooo cute and had everything we needed. I learned to make toast in the panini maker. Above everything else we felt perfectly safe. Our host provided us with a phone making communication a snap. I really appreciated the private, personal night tour from our host that was thoughtfully included in our stay. I also admire our hosts genuine concern for our safety and helping us reach our appointments in a timely manner." ~62 year old mother After nearly 24hours of stressful international travel with a 7year old and 62year old (airports, security, passports, luggage, layovers, airplane bathrooms, money exchange, minimal sleep, language differences, etc.), the starkly contrasted peace this anxious36year old felt... when meeting Daniele and settling into our LittleHomeInRome for the week... was almost physically touchable. My initial list of descriptors jotted down after arrival: Perfect fit. Safe. Clean. Light. Well done. Fine. Exquisite. Home. At ease. Relaxed. Nice. Absolute heaven. Tucked away. Cozy. Daniele: gracious, kind, gentle. Efficient. Wise. Professional. Friendly. Previous reviews(testimonials) helped us make our decision to stay in LittleHomeInRome. Daniele was easily reachable from initial inquiries of the property throughout our entire adventures. From the local cell phone provided----to the detailed welcome manual----to explaining/showing us about the local transit----to printing important marathon documents I didn't know I needed----to calling locally regarding traffic and reaching race start/finish----to the unexpected and highly appreciated drop off/pick up at the Colosseum for the running.....jogging, of my first full marathon----to the heart-shapped-refreshing cookies/chocolate and warming blanket post-race from Gianna----to the thoughtful, informative, spectacular night tour----to the insightful recommendations assuring we did not miss our return flight-----------mere words hardly capture my grattitude. A hope of the owners is for their guests to feel what everyday life is like for a local. Aside from our culture shock, the recently renovated apartment and fine furnishings made a perfect homebase for us to do just that. (We may have enjoyed the creature comforts too much and should have pushed ourselves harder to get out and explore.) We hope to return one day and tour all of the famous sites. For now, in this world of uncertainty and unrest (and pickpockets), we thank God for allowing us to experience peace, safety and perfection in Rome with this host and these accommodations. Thank you for helping make my Maratona-di-Roma-Dream-2015 a Reality. (*Little Home In Rome is rightly deserving of any award received locally and worldwide)
