“Service above and beyond”
We have stayed at Alice In Trastevere before and had no second thoughts about rebooking it for a special birthday celebration this year. As before the apartment is well located, well furnished, and well managed by Andrea. His service is second to none, including not only booking us a taxi back to the airport, but also going down to book a restaurant in Trastevere who weren't answering the phone. It was a also a pleasure this time round to meet Alice herself!
“Comfortable & spacious in a lovely location”
The apartment was very comfortable and spacious - visiting Rome with my husband and son and it was ideal for three adults sharing. The lounge is large so plenty of space for the sofa bed to be turned down and very easy to operate - the bedroom was large also with lots of space to move around. I must mention that it was one of the cleanest apartments I have ever rented, so well done to the owners for the high standard. The owners Andrea and Alice were friendly and hospitable, they were very accommodating and offered us lots of help throughout our stay - it was our first time in Rome and they gave us very good guidance. The location was great, we loved Trastevere and the restaurants and bars are wonderful at night. The only thing I would change if returning in the future would be our flight time, unfortunately it was a late flight on arrival after 21 hours, not ideal on your first visit and includes a late arrival fee - but everything else was wonderful, the sight seeing, the vibrant city and the food. The most interesting city we have visited and the owners put a lot of effort into making it a pleasant stay.
“Best customer service and location in Rome”
We spent five great days at Alice in Trastevere and to say Andrea provided great customer service, would be an understatement. We had a miscommunication on extending our staying one more night and Andrea inadvertently rented the apartment. To make up for it, he found us a wonderful b&b close to the apartment, made all the arrangements, walked us there and paid for it. He is genuine and very easy to work with. As far as the apartment, it is in a great location for walking everywhere, had great wifi and provided us a wonderful home at the end of the day. He even has an American coffee maker with coffee. Look no further, book Alice in Trastevere!
“a home away in Rome”
It feels like staying on the set of an Italian movie. The apartment is in a real apartment complex. In a great neighborhood. walking distance to any place. we never had to use a bus. simple, comfortable and has ti all. The hosts are freindly and helpful. i can't wait until i can stay there again.
“Excellent base for visiting Rome”
Many thanks to Alice and Andrea for all their help and advice on our recent trip to Rome. Andrea rescued us when the taxi driver took us to the wrong address and gave us lots of helpful tips on places to eat and visit. The apartment is in a very convenient location for visiting the sights of Rome, close to the Vatican and also a short walk over the bridge into the historic areas. The apartment is clean. well equipped and nicely decorated providing somewhere you're very happy to return to after a long day sightseeing.
“The Perfect Rome apartment”
This apartment was perfect for us while visiting Rome. Our luggage was late, two flights after ours landed, and Andrea was so supportive and understanding. Andrea and Alice waited for us to retrieve our luggage and then took time to show us the apartment, make coffee for us, map out walks and places to see and help us with restaurant suggestions. The apartment is nicely decorated, extremely clean and comfortable and we loved being in a neighborhood instead of with all the tourists. The apartment is within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to see. If we return to Rome we wouldn't hesitate to stay here and if you don't you are missing on a wonderful opportunity to feel a part of Rome.
“Apartment owners were very friendly and helpful”
The apartment was lovely: it was light and spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and everything was in good working order. It's a 10 minute walk from the Vatican and also very close to a number of good restaurants. The apartment owners were very prompt at answering queries before we arrived, and were there to meet us when we got there. They had lots of good suggestions for places to eat nearby, and also very helpfully booked us a taxi to get us to the airport on our last day. Highly recommend.
“The perfect holiday home in a perfect location!”
We found the perfect vacation rental to explore a Rome in a short stay which included the occasion of a wedding at the stunning Church of Santa Cecilia in Trastevere. Our host Andrea met and greeted us with such warm hospitality - despite the late hour - making us feel mist welcome. Andrea's advice and tips for navigating Rome as well as fantastic restaurant recommendations. If anyone is undecided about the choice of holiday rental in Rome then look no further than this more than suitable and value for money apartment - within a quiet residential neighbourhood perfect for relaxing after a full day's sightseeing!
“Clean, quiet, great location and wonderful landlords.”
My husband and I recently stayed in this lovely apartment. It was clean, well equipped, and convenient to many of Rome's historical sites. We are in our mid sixties and were able to walk to the Vatican (less than a mile) as well as the Colosseum and all sites in between. Andrea and Alice were gracious hosts providing suggestions for shopping, eating and provided maps and written material to make our stay enjoyable. Staying in a typical Romean neighborhood gave us an experience of local life that hotels cannot do. We would recommend this apartment to all our family and friends should they visit Rome. Thank you Andrea and Alice.
“Lovely apartment with very helpful owners”
Lovely well equipped apartment with very helpful owners Andrea took the time to give us tips of where to eat locally in Trastevere, and a lovely walk which gave a panoramic view across Rome If you want quiet and local this a place I would recommend.
