“Perfect base for Croatia exploring”

We are home from a wonderful holiday in Ivana's lovely apartment. It was spotlessly clean, had fantastic views to the Adriatic and proved to be in a perfect location. Irene (Ivana's mum) was absolutely charming and we enjoyed lots of English conversations mixed with a bit of sign language where she forgot words! The little village of Kanica has a couple of restaurants and two small beaches, so we spent a couple of lazy days debating whether to use the pool or take the 5 minute walk to the sea. On a number of occasions we did both! The pool was fantastic - 12m long so you could actually swim in it, and we loved the mosaic tiles it was finished in. There was so much to do in the surrounding area. We loved Rogoznica (jump into Dragon's Eye Lake - it's exhilarating!) and Primosten a bit further up the coast. Both beautiful little towns with lots of cafes, restaurants and beaches. Further afield Sibenik and Split were fascinating for a day trip and a bit further away still, Zadar is worth the drive - we were intrigued by the sea organ. We would also recommend taking a ferry to an island for a day - we went to Hvar and it made an lovely change. The absolute highlight of the holiday, though, was definitely the stunning coastline and the crystal clear waters. Take beach shoes as it's rocky and goggles or a mask to watch all the fish when you go swimming. Can you tell I wish I was still there?! I would highly recommend this property and this part of Croatia - we have many very fond memories of it.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ivana (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
