Eden Project=only 35 mins from Polzeath. Eden is truly in Cornwall – this stunning environment will take your breath away. As well as being fascinating and awe-inspiring for adults, children absolutely adore it here – there is so much to do, take a whole day to do it justice. The food in the restaurants is absolutely wonderful – and so is the service.

The Minack Theatre an extraordinary out-door theatre built into the cliffs and looking straight out to sea. 1 hr 15 mins from Polzeath, but well worth a visit..

St Ives - for the beautiful Tate Gallery and it's café which serves delicious food and has breath-taking views. An hour away, but again, well worth the drive.

Port Isaac – During the summer season, go down on Thursday evenings to hear The Silver band playing in the village or Friday evenings to hear The Fisherman's Friends singing on The Platt. Go any time to eat and enjoy the atmosphere of this unique fishing village.
