The Cart Shed is 10 minutes walk to the Northwood RSPB reserve and 30 minutes walk to the Thames sea wall where you can watch the herons, marsh harriers, barn owls and many other wildlife. This is the perfect base to explore Rochester, Canterbury, The Garden of England or jump onto a train into London and catch a wonderful show.

The nearby village of High Halstow is 2 miles away ,which has a pub serving food, post office and grocery store.

The local golf course and swimming pool and leisure centre is 10 minutes drive away and where there are further shops. For the shopaholics, Bluewater Shopping centre is 20 minutes away with Ashford Retail Outlet approx 40 minutes away.
