Masserie di Marsilio is a secluded, private borgo (historical village) tucked away in the foothills of the Majella mountains in the little known region of Abruzzo
After a five year restoration, we opened in 2015 with a range of accommodation in traditional stone buildings. The restoration has focused on the reuse of existing materials to blend traditional architecture with progressive design. This has provided a unique destination for couples, families and groups alike
Abruzzo offers a warm Mediterranean climate with easy access to both the coast (25 minutes) and mountains (35 minutes). Although secluded, Masserie di Marsilio is only a five minute drive or half an hour’s walk from the town of Casoli (five restaurants, bars and supermarkets); with Pescara airport (50 minutes) and Rome, Naples and Ancona around two and a half hours away
