For the prime months we are looking for Saturday - Saturday rentals but outside of July & August we are always prepared to be flexible. Just ask. You will be met personally at the Villa by our Managing Agents, Gramova, probably Ellie. They will show you round and explain how everything works. Our gardener/pool guy, Tim, may put in an appearance or two during your stay to ensure that all is perfect for your enjoyment. We change towels and linen weekly. For bookings in 2015 we will be asking for a nominal refundable £500 deposit against breakages, damage, excessive cleaning etc. If you do damage or break something please let us know. The maid will check the inventory at the end of each stay.
The Agents always go through the inventory at the end of each rental but we like to feel that you will inform us of any mishap. We ask for a 50% rental deposit (non-refundable) and the balance 6 weeks prior to your start date. Once the deposit is paid - bank transfer works well - we will send out a pack with 'notes' on the property and full directions as to the location. It is just 25 mins drive from Malaga airport.

Previous owners used this villa as their second home. Five years ago they employed the services of leading Spanish stylist, Paco Pena, to make this house as comfortable as possible. His unique touches are felt throughout in the style and quality of the furnishings. This is not your typical rental! The triple aspect lounge/diner makes the most of the sea views and our new large astronomical telescope is there for your enjoyment.A few steps down takes you to the three bedrooms and bathrooms - each bedroom has the views of the Meditteranean and opens out onto the very large terrace, just metres away from the pool. All the bathrooms feature wetroom showers and are very modern. We saw loads of fairly ordinary houses until we came to this gem back in March 2012 when we bought it lock, stock & barrel! The secondary living area is very useful to give the children their own space. We will be constantly adding touches. Just in case anyone is bored or it rains (heaven forbid!) there is a PS2 with a variety of games plus a selection of traditional Board games for your use. Feel free to add to our library of books. Last year we added a full size table tennis table and a large gas barbecue - both have proved very popular. And in 2014 we have put in, due to popular demand, a large astronomical telescope on a tripod.

The property is on three levels. You enter through secure gates with parking under a car port for two cars. You can also leave cars in the road. It is near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Walk down a few steps to an entrance level featuring climbing plants and tub flowers, through the front door and you are into the main living area that offers two lounges and two dining areas, kitchen and guest bathroom. There are exterior steps to the main terrace which has ample room for 6 sun loungers, adjacent to the private swimming pool and outside jacuzzi. There is an outside kitchen for entertaining al fresco with tables and chairs. One small flight of steps down again and you come to the entrance of the 'vertical' garden with fruit trees etc. This does follow the natural slope of the land and the steps have no handrail so unless otherwise asked we intend to lock the gate for health and safety reasons. Although it is great to know that no-one can ever build in front of you it is not really usable. Sun bathe on the terrace! Last year we have added a table tennis table and a large gas barbecue. You are welcome to use gas from the previous clients but once exhausted we would ask you to replace the bottle (from nearest petrol station) so that the favour can be maintained for the next guests.

I have to believe that if you are considering the Costa del Sol you know the advantages of a holiday in the region - great all year round weather, low cost and frequent short flights from most European airports, cheap car hire and currently a decent pound v the euro currency rate.

Riviera del Sol itself is just 20 mins drive from the pretty picturesque cobbled streets of Mijas. Our villa is just 3 mins drive or 15 mins walk from a beautiful sandy beach with an interesting headland which offers long or short walks as you please.

“Homely Villa, Great location, Great Views.”
We spent a very enjoyable few days at Villa Poco Loco. It is easy to find with the given directions, being only a couple of minutes by car off the A7 dual carriageway, at the top of a hill. This gives the villa great views towards the sea and westwards. The villa is spacious, light and comfortable with the living accommodation on the top floor and the bedrooms down one floor on the level with the terrace and pool. Elle was waiting for us at the villa when we arrived and went through everything with us, and was on hand for any queries during our stay. We would happily stay at Poco Loco again!
“What a villa!!!!”
This was our second time staying in Casa Poco Loco and it was every bit as good as our first time. This villa has everything you need. The outdoor kitchen is our favourite part...besides the pool and spectacular view of course!!! We had breakfast and lunch in the villa and had dinner in the local restaurants each evening. The kids loved coming back to the villa at night and going for a swim....that is something you cannot do in an apartment block with a package holiday. It is such a relaxing holiday...sitting by the pool, or in the jacuzzi, looking at the view is so enjoyable. We would recommend renting a car although you won't feel like leaving the villa once you get there!! We will definitely be back again. Ps Thanks to Ellie again for a wonderful welcome (even though we were late)!!!
Well - what good things can we say about this accommodation and facilities that haven’t been said before? Casa Poco Loco, local agent Elly, gardener Tim and owners Nigel/Jackie certainly live up to all the positive comments that have been previously made about them and from our perspective any negativity from previous clients comments have either been addressed by the owners by rectifying issues or were totally unjustified in the first place. Set in an elevated position the villa is a perfect place to unwind with far reaching views over the Mediterranean and surrounding area with plenty of room to spread out. Local shops, restaurants and facilities are within easy reach and the drive from/to Malaga airport is quick and easy. We were fortunate with the weather during our visit considering it was late March, early April and we were even able to use the swimming pool on ten days if you don’t mind a brisk `cooler` swim – more sea temp off Bournemouth during August rather than the Serpentine at Christmas ;-) Anyway, ditto regarding all the previous positive remarks made by visitors, the villa is brilliant and we will hopefully return one day soon. What a lovely villa, it was much bigger then we expected and the outside terrace was huge and was very well equipped for cooking and relaxing. The view from the terrace was amazing.. It really was a chilled out holiday and we will definitely be back
“Everything you could want from a holiday house with an incredible view”
We've had a wonderful 2 weeks. The house is of an exceptionally high standard. Everything you could possibly want is included with lots of unexpected extras. The outdoor area is not done justice by the photos - it is huge and the outdoor kitchen is perfect. We were barely indoors! But the real selling point is the view of which we never tired.
Our stay at Casa Poco Loco was really enjoyable.On arrival we found the villa very clean. The terrace has a fantastic view and we spent most of our time there utiliising the barbie and outside fridge and freezer. As previous Villa owners we can definately recommend Casa Poco Loco.

My husband, our 3 boys (aged 9, 7 & 4) and I stayed in Casa Poco Loco for 1 week. We had a fantastic time. The villa surpassed all expectations. It has everything you need and more. We loved the outdoor kitchen - we probably only used the indoor kitchen once! The pool and the jacuzzi were excellent. Although the pool isn't heated, it was still warm from the sun. The best part of the villa is the view....it is spectacular both day and night. In the evening, it was lovely to spend some time in the jacuzzi then lay down on the sun-loungers and look at the stars. A car is a must in our opinion. There are lots of places to visit and we would recommend visiting Mijas town in the mountains...very picturesque. It was a very relaxing holiday....probably the best family holiday we've had in the sun. We will definitely go back again.

The villa was superbly positioned in terms of view and accesibility for supermarket and restaurants. The outdoor kitchen was important to us as we like to bbq at lunch, this was excellent. A great find which we would certainly look to revisit
“A place to feel at home”
Casa Poco Loco is a house that is thought through very well and offers plenty of space for the extended family or a group of friends. It is well-maintained and you notice that the owner keeps improving it. It is therefore easy to feel at home. The outside space with the kitchen and BBQ is great; you can spend the entire day outside without having to run up and down. Nothing is missing and everything works. We also enjoyed the choice of TV channels and the W-LAN - it keeps you connected. It is tempting not to leave the house all day … but when you do, there are plenty of things to discover, and the location of the house is ideal.

Well what can we say ! What a stunning stunning Villa with views that we never got bored of. We had the most relaxing family holiday we have ever had. Simply beautiful with fantastic views and surrounding areas. Our best family holiday to date. We had 14 days of full sunshine and it was a real effort to muster up the energy to even bother to leave the villa....in fact we didn't for the first 4 days as it was so relaxing. The Villa was sparkling clean when we arrived. This Villa surpassed our expectations and whilst the photos of the property are nice we dont think they do the external patio, pool and outside kitchen area enough justice. There is a very good quality gas BBQ which meant we literally lived in this patio area alone. The Villas Air Conditioning was also really good quality which enabled a good nights sleep. If you are unlucky enough to experience bad weather, this Villa provides such a homely feel you will still be able to feel relaxed and on holiday. Its a big world, so not one for visiting the same place twice, but this Villa really has tempted us and we have already recommended it to friends and families. Would recommend La Cala (about 2km back toward Mallaga) - Lovely beach, lovely village feel and lovely restaurants. I think one of the restaurants was called El Gusto (or similar) and the food was absolutely fantastic (its not a pizza and chips venue though if you have 'fussy' kids). One tip, if you are the 'get up and get at' type and you want to visit the local towns (Puerto Banus and Marbella) do it early as whilst all parking seems to be free, its finding somewhere to park freely is the problem !! If you book your holiday at this Villa, you will not be dissapointed.
