Very Good

“Beautiful apartment in a beautiful town”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2017

7 of us and a baby stayed for a week in August and immediately felt at home. The apartment is extremely well equipped and allows you to relax straight into your holiday. There is even a PS2 and plenty of dvds to keep the family occupied during the odd thunderstorm! The spacious balcony gets lots of sun and looks over a pedestrianized street with the mountains to the right. It feels private enough to sunbathe and read a book with a glass of prosecco. The old town is right on your doorstep and the beach is a ten minute walk. Would recommend the cable car ride in Malcestine, but go early as the queues are long in August. Overall a perfect venue for a family holiday.

“Excellent location”

We, as a family of three generations, have just returned from a most wonderful holiday in Riva. Condominium Dante is perfectly located, being near the Lake and restaurants. Our favourite place in the condominium was the balcony, it has the most stunning views of the mountains. The rest of the accommodation was lovely, and so well equipped. Thank you to Mike for greeting us at such a late hour. Thank you to Caroline for letting her beautiful condominium to us.

“Ticked all the boxes”

What a find! Located on a pedestrianised street in the center of Riva, close to all the action and yet within an hour of the ski slopes of Monte Bondone. Weather was beautiful in mid Feb and we'll most certainly return.

“Spacious, comfy, great location, ideal for families + groups”

Reviewed 14 Nov 2015

We just spent 4 days at this great apartment and would definitely return! The location is excellent with a fantastic sunny balcony facing a pedestrian street. The parking garage is conveniently close, as are shops, restaurants, the lake, hiking, etc. The showers and heating worked well (in my experience, this not a given in countries where the weather is warm most of the year) and an added plus was the huge DVD collection, though we didn't have time to actually watch much. Too much sunshine and good food waiting for us right outside the door. :-)

“Fabulous apartment in fabulous location.”

Wonderful location. Parking easy. The apartment has all you need for short or long stay. All arrangements went smoothly - nothing was difficult. Would highly recommend.

“The perfect family apartment, magnificently situated in a beautiful town”

Reviewed 19 Oct 2014

Our young family and extended family had a great time in Riva. After travelling with young children (2,4 & 6) for a couple of weeks around the USA, arriving in Italy without sleep and finding our way to Riva with tired grumpy kids, it was a huge relief to find a spacious, clean and extremely comfortable apartment. The children were in their element, they loved having a siesta and their breakfast on the balcony, there was room for them to relax and a great selection of kids DVD's, bikes, games etc. Everything that could make a family comfortable was provided at the apartment, All rooms were spacious, clean and filled with light and fresh air. We ate in most evenings as the kitchen was well equipped and the dinning/lounge room a great retreat after a busy day in and out of town. The location of the apartment was a dream, we couldn't ask for any more. Thank you so much for accommodating our needs as a family, from the moment we booked until we arrived and department. We will definitely be recommending Condominium Dante to our friends and hope to come back again in the future.

“Spacious and comfortable base to explore Lake Garda”

Reviewed 22 May 2014

Condo Dante was a very spacious and light-filled apartment with an ideal location just across a pedestrian-only street from the medieval gate to the old town center of Riva del Garda. Everything in Riva, from great restaurants and bars, to shopping and excursion boats, are a mere five to ten minute walk away. The apartment included the use of a dedicate indoor garage space half a block away, so it was a breeze to load and unload luggage or hop in the car for an excursion along the breathtaking roads around the lake. There is a small grocery store literally right across the street from the apartment building entrance, where all the necessities can be found, and a much larger grocery just a few blocks away. The apartment has a nicely remodeled and fully-equipped kitchen, as well as a clothes washer and dryer (a rarity in Italy). The large and well-furnished balcony enjoys views of the city gate and of the spectacular mountains that ring the town. The owners, who live in England, are great to deal with and very responsive. The owner's uncle lives full-time just a few miles away. This is the gentleman who met us at the apartment and showed us the ropes, and it gave us great peace of mind to know he lived so close by. Riva del Garda is a lovely and scenic town. A little on the touristy side, but with great bars and restaurants. Many excursion boats leave from Riva for visits to other lakeside towns. The roads from Riva are, as I mentioned above, offer some really spectacular drives, but since there's limited access (you are, after all, surrounded by mountains), there can be a lot of traffic. Riva is definitely a magnet for many outdoor sport types, with great hiking and mountain biking trails, and reliable constant breezes for wind surfing. However, we were more than satisfied sitting outside at our favorite bar, sipping some of the local wine and soaking in the amazing views of snow-capped mountains rising out of the lake. Great excursions along the lake include Sirmione, Limone, Bardolino, Malcesine and Desenzano. You can reach these either by boat or by car. Don't miss Gabriele D'Annunzio's villa Il Vittorial in Gardone, for a bit of bizarre and creepy Italian history. Also highly recommended is the scenic 45 minute drive north to visit the city of Trento, a real undiscovered gem. All in all, we were delighted with our stay at Condo Dante, and cannot recommend it more highly

“Very convenient, excellent location”

Reviewed 24 Apr 2013

Condo Dante is very convenient and home-like apartment with excellent location in Riva Del Garda. Old town is just 50 meters away, with several restaurants and shops. Apartment was exactly as expected and the fotos give a good outlook what to expect . We stayed for 10 days and this type of accomodation is very nice for longer stays. Kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances and everything worked well. Bedrooms are large and quiet. Kids liked to play Nintendo and we even had time to watch few movies from the large dvd library provided by the owner. We already booked this for our next stay in Riva!
