The property is located within a 10 minute walk of 2 well appointed commercial centres, Los Dolses & La Fuente, with supermarket, bank, bars and a choice of restaurants and other facilities. The famous Villamartin Plaza with it's unique character and bustling eating/entertainment areas, is just a 5 minute drive away. The recently opened Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, with it's many designer shops, eateries and children's play area, is also close by. The Boulevard is a huge attraction and draws visitors from up and down the coast.

For the beach lover, there are a number of blue flag beaches within a 5/10 minute drive. Those with smaller children may prefer the shallow waters of the Mar Menor, approx. 20 minutes away.

For the golf enthusiast, there are 3 well appointed golf courses locally, Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor.

Ideally situated for exploring this beautiful coastline, whether northwards to Torrevieja, Alicante and beyond, or southwards to the Mar Menor, La Manga and historical Cartagena. The Andalucia region

If you haven't visited the Costa Blanca before then visit now, as this is a thriving coast with an appeal to young and old alike.This is a wonderful stretch of coastline offering miles of sandy blue flag beaches and blue skies. The climate boasts an average of 320 days of sunshine a year. You have the choice to explore the numerous activities the coast has to offer. Fantastic golf courses, water sports, horse riding, tennis are just a few of the options.

The coast is full of protected wildlife reserves, around the Torrevieja saltpans the unique wetland eco system is an important nature reserve with flamingos, in total there are over 250 species of birds. Some of beaches are backed with sand dunes and Mediterranean Pines where you can always find a secluded spot.

There is something for the entire family, busy resorts, quiet fishing communities with numerous restaurants offering traditional Spanish cuisine, or if you prefer a wide range of international restaurants, bars and clubs.

There are bustling street markets where you can sample the local produce. The quality of life is vibrant and you can join in the fun at the many fiestas throughout the year.

Rioja

The property is located within the popular 'Rioja' area of Villamartin. This is a fully established, matured area of approx. 15 years old and is frequented by residential as well as tourists and is very popular during peak season with English families.

The area is a quiet location whilst being just 15 minute walk from Villamartin Plaza with its excellent choice of bars, restaurants, banks, supermarket etc - again, during peak season there is a lot of family orientated entertainment to ensure everyone is kept amused. Plus, local taxi´s can be hired from the Plaza. If you fancy a change then Los Dolses/Rioja is just a 2 min walk from the villa and offers alternative bars/restaurants plus the excellent La Fuente Centre with an abundance of retaurants and bars.

Beaches
Nearby La Zenia is literally a 5 min drive or during peak season there is a bus service which operates between Villamartin Plaza and the beach. This beach is a safe, sandy bay with permanent restaurant as well as beach bars during the warmer months. However, also close by are further bays and beaches - majority sandy but some with rock pools - if the children (or even adults!) want to explore.

Large Party Bookings
