Description from owner

Description

Cynlas is a 5 acre smallholding in the top left-hand corner of Wales, just a few miles south of Caernarfon. We are on a hillside with woods, a stream and views over the Irish Sea and Anglesey. We have pigs, chickens and gunea fowl, which are beautiful birds, but a bit noisy ! Its perfectly postioned for an outdoors holiday, very peaceful, great nearby walks, and the chance to feed the animals on the smallholding, if the fancy takes you. Its close to Portmerion, the beach, some great castles at Caernafon, Conway and Beaumauris, and easy access to Anglesey and the Llyn peninsula.

Cynlas Static is an old mobile home it may have seen better days but its cheap but comfortable (in the depths of winter you have to be a bit brave to stay in it)

The Lounge has sofas, a gas fire, a TV with DVD and dining table for 4. If you were squeezing in the sofa could sleep 2

The Kitchen has a fridge, a sink and a gas hob and oven and is equipped for self catering

We spend here 4 days in late october. How was? Great. Caravan is lokated on old farm yard. Bit overgrowing sorrund but no neighborough, zero noise. My kids love this place. Was just clean (scale 1-6 I give 4) Paul are always ready to help for any question. Perfect view from living room. Caravan was well equipment we got what we need. I think we will back there on summer.

“Peaceful and relaxing”

Reviewed 6 Sep 2016

A lovely peaceful stay. We were struggling to find anywhere over this weekend as my partner was taking part in a race but then we found this little gem. Its around 10 minutes from the Caernarfon centre and easy to find. Its not 5* and very posh if that's what you look for, however if you want peace and quiet then its perfect. Dog friendly and set on a small holding with friendly chickens and turkeys roaming about and a lovely pet pig. The owner is very friendly and leaves you to it but is there if you need him. The caravan isn't a brand new model, if that's what you're looking for but it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Beds are made up and towels provided. Also tea, coffee and sugar and there was milk in the fridge too. It was the best few nights sleep I've had for a long time and none of us wanted to come home. My 4 year old daughter loved the chickens and the friendly little robin that hangs around. There is also a view of the sea and all you will hear at night is the breeze in the trees and the sound of the sea. There is a Tesco within very easy reach in Caernarfon, plus a Morrisons. There's also a small shop on the left hand side as you drive to Caernarfon so everything within easy reach. We will definitely be booking to go back.

“Friendly people and my 3 year old son loved the pigs, chickens etc”
