Interaction with guest

Winter use. This is an old welsh house in a very rural area offered at very reasonable price compared to the high end market. Wifi can be very limited at the best of times and worse in bad weather. Heating. Wood and coal is free. There are several stand alone elecric heaters. Oil fired central heating is metered with the first £15 (15 hours) free. Being a rural cottage we have our own private water supply from the holy well which is UV filtered and a carbon filter for drinking water which we have been drinking with no ill effects for 30 years.. However in bad weather the water can become off colour, fine for cooking and washing but I would advise bringing some bottled water for drinking.

“Absolute peace and tranquility 5 minutes from the beach”

Reviewed 8 Jun 2017

Got a bit lost on the way there due to dearth of accurate road signs and many windy roads though Tyn Parc track is signposted well . Good idea to get there in daylight and or use an OS map This is a typical welsh farmhouse. All rooms in the house are spacious and some have glorious views out to Y Eifl and beyond. There is a cosy living room with an easy to get going wood burner plus the central heating made the house very toasty in the evenings. There is a whole area where you can hang up your wet coats and boots to dry. Its very secluded and private with lots of garden for children to play in. . You can easily do several walks from the house

Owner's reply: Thank you Joy for your kind and honest review of my home :)

“Absolutely gorgeous”

Reviewed 30 Apr 2017

It is the first time me and my family have ever been. It is the first family holiday we've had in 4 years. The view from the Porch front garden is stunning you can see hells mouths and the mountains. I can believe Doug is trying to sell it, it is my faverote place I've stayed in. My husband and daughter had so many games of pool it's uncountable. It is a twenty minute walk from the house to the beach and it's worth it. Doug and his son help you out with anything that's from a problem to a electrical thingy. Thank you so much Doug this is the best holiday I've had in ages. Xxx

Owner's reply: A great pleasure to meet you all. Thank you for your kinds words :)
