This traditional market town offers a range of shops and restaurants. It is the first town on the River Wye and gateway to the spectacular dams and reservoirs of the Elan and Claerwen Valleys. This stunning area offers opportunities for walking, running, biking, fishing, horse riding, wildlife and bird watching, photography, arts and crafts, music, dance, shows, festivals and even the carnival. It is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy outdoor activities, family attractions and explore the very best of the Cambrian Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Pembrokeshire coast and countryside has to offer.
