It is unfortunate that you did not appreciate the distance of the house or need for transport to Puerto Banus. With your group being 7 adults and no car I can understand how the cost of paying for two taxis would build up.I had hoped that the email I sent you before i accepted your booking when you mentioned you were considering taxis from the airport would have clarified the locality for you.I did tell you that a taxi from the airport would be 90 euro for 4 persons and that you would need a 16 euro taxi to get to the port which is 3kms from the house There are as you noted numerous local bars, restaurants,2 small supermarkets and shops in the Benamara and Benavista area which is a 15 to 20 min walk down the Azahar road and an award winning restaurant and a pizzeria beside the house but as I state in my advert and reiterated in my email i do recommend car hire or a taxi down the road is 5 euro. Regarding using Puerto Banus in the locality name this is in line with local hotels such as the Senator Banus which is nearby or other properties advertising in the area. Hi Lauri, Thank you for your excellent review and I am delighted you and your 6 friends enjoyed your stay in March. As you know there are several supermarkets,deli,cafes,bars,restaurants within 10 or 15 mins walk from the house but for guests staying without a car I do indeed recommend calling or picking up a taxi,which are approx 5 euro for bringing back groceries.
