The studio apartment was ideally located and close to bars restaurants shops etc and within 10 mins walking to beaches. The apartment was well kitted out but a bit dated could do with lick of paint to freshen plus the pillows were very bad too hard to be comfortable.

I am in Tenerife myself at the moment and all the apartments are being painted and I will certainly check the pillows and replace - but I do wish you had mentioned this during your stay as they could have been replaced for you. “Wonderful stay”

Had one of the studio apartments overlooking the main heated pool. What a great position. We sat on our balcony watching everyone in the pool. It was not noisy and everyone very friendly. The apartment had everything we could need. We usually book a one bedroomed apartment but as there were only 2 of us the studio was great - it had twin beds which were comfy and a sofa to sit and watch TV (not that we did much TV watching). The pool bar was great and it had entertainment twice a week during the day. Food and drink there was reasonably priced and so was The Winning Post which s also on site. There was a Chinese Buffet on the corner and lots of bars and restaurants. The beach was close by. This complex and apartment had everything we needed and we will certainly be back.

The site olympus garden city is excellent in its cleanliness good food helpfull friendly staff entertainment Tues,& Thurs, nice pool and all-round suitable holiday break for young & elderly good mix and people feel relaxed and are sociable. 4 entertainment bars within 100 yds of walk outside and at least 4 eaterie's to suit diff, tastes Buses to go down town on doorstep and beach within 10 minute pleasant down hill stroll. have used this site on and off for approx 25 years and have been in a variety of units with time share on site, mostly one bedroom and that is only difference this time a missing bedroom ( No grill to do my sausage & bacon) but managed with the frying pan everything else as good as you can get. will use if i can this studio again in October If you see this review lease let me know I am having trouble with Int supply.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for the review and pleased to hear you had a lovely time. The studio apartments have an electric hob so you can cook plus a microwave oven for anything you need to put in an oven. The one bedroomed apartments have a large ktchen area so also have a full oven. I look forward to welcoming you back soon

The settee is also a sofa bed if a third person stays so is probably not as comfy than your own sofa you have in the living room at home - but this is a holiday apartment so things are not going to be the same as home. “DO NOT BOOK! TERRIBLE APARTMENTS”

Owner's reply: I am finding it hard to keep my response professional. Janet realised she had put the towels in the wrong apartment when you contacted her. Mistakes don't happen very often but they can happen and she promptly brought the towels to you. You were staying for 14 nights and Janet saw you and your family when she undertook the linen change mid stay and absolutely no comments were made as to the state or cleaning or indeed any other problems. Janet is there to help if there are any problems but you did not mention any. We heard nothing from you until the day before you were due to depart when you had realised that checkout time was 10.00 am in the morning and argued that you thought it was 2.00 pm which is check in time. It states on the advert check in time. I do not know of any hotel etc which gives a 2.00 pm check out - you just had not read the whole advert. The advert also states that Free WiFi is available around by the pool. It is also available in my apartments if you buy a voucher code from reception. As you thought you could stay and as a gesture Janet let you keep the one bedroomed apartment until you all went to the airport - so your complaint is completely ungrounded. You contacted me before your arrival and asked about fans and I told you they are not often needed (I have never needed one myself) but they are easy to hire from reception which I understand you did - so not sure why you are mentioning this. It is true not everyone needs fans. I am not sure why you thought were entitled to enter apartment 108 before another of your party arrived. You enterted theis apartment the day before the dates you had booked for. Janet would have been in on the morning of their arrival to reclean the balcony etc as it had been empty for a few days. Just because it was empty you should not have gone in - or at the very least you should have had the common courtesy to ask if it was possible. These guests stayed on for another 4 nights after you left and Janet apologised that they seemed to be under the misapprehension it was a 2.00 pm checkout - she arranged for them to keep the bags in the apartment until then. They said it was not a problem and said something like - 'you had only made such a fuss as you were probably embarrased and hadn't wanted to lose face in front of the rest of the family as you had arranged all the bookings and hadn't read all the details I sent to you properly.' They made no mention to Janet of having any problems in the apartment. I will certainly get the electricity etc checked out but why didn't you mention this at the time? I do not know what to say re your comment about the person who was moving into 124 when the people left as the apartment was empty for four days after they left - before the next booking arrived - so this cannot be true. If you felt you had any problems during your stay I really cannot understand why you didn't make contact with either Janet or myself so anything could be rectified. You made absoutely no complaint until you realised the day before you were due to depart you had got the check out time wrong. You admit you did not look at the paperwork so it is your mistake - as you rightly said I send out all the paper work at least 8 weeks before the holiday and the check in and check out times are clearly stated together with key details and local contact. As you had to phone Janet re the towels you would have had to read past the check in and check out times first. Sometime I feel I must be living in some sort of parallel Universe as the couple who stayed for 2 weeks - actually staying in the apartment between two of the studios you are complaining about - had a wonderfull time (their 4th or so stay with me) and they contacted me mid stay to book yet again.
