“Fabulous apartment with great views”

Reviewed 27 Jan 2014

We have stayed at Seal View on numerous occasions and always have a great time. The apartment is spacious with 2 good size bedrooms, bathroom and large lounge/dining/kitchen area. The apartment overlooks the River Esk and has Abbey views. It is in a good location with a 10 to 15 min walk into town. We have never encountered any problems during our stays at the property. There is undercroft parking available for one car. I would definitely recommend Seal View to all ages who want a modern, well positioned holiday apartment in Whitby.

“nicely presented, great outlook.”

Stayed 2 nights early January at end of our 7 week holiday. Wish we had seen this earlier as would have stayed at least 4 nights. Great outlook from Unit and easy walk to town. Most car parking was free in any case being winter months and plenty car parking available if you wanted to drive into town. The unit was nicely presented, plenty of heating for cold nights and had a great outlook over the water. Price - excellent value for money given what we were paying during our travels. Easy drive to Goathland (heartbeat fans). Only booked night before sat so thank you to owner and caretaker for making the effort. No wifi but good service area for phone/internet access if you have mobile.

“Just what the Dr ordered”

Just had a knee replacement so a few days away was a nice break. The apartment is so well ordered and accessible (thank you lift!) it was a great weekend. Everything you need - spotlessly clean and very handy for all Whitby has to offer. Thank you

“Fantastic welcoming, secure, quiet apartment”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2013

The apartment is extremely well decorated and furnished with all that you would need for a sort break or longer stay, the security of the buildings is fantastic and having private secure parking is great. The situation on the edge of the town is lovely and quiet, with stunning views of the estuary, Whitby and the Abbey and yet it's only a ten minute walk into town on the flat road side, so it's ideal for disabled guests, I would highly recommended the apartment and hope to return next year. The owners are extremely helpful.

“Lovely, modern, spacious apartment in a delightful setting.”

I stayed here with one of my sisters and mother as my other sister decided to get married in Whitby (we all live in Lancashire) so we rented the apartment for the weekend. We were delighted with the apartment and it looked even nicer than the pictures. It was in a pleasant area, with a nice view overlooking the harbour. Caroline had given us detailed information about the apartment and the area. The apartment had lots of equipment, even CDs and DVDs plus toys for anyone travelling with children. Plus the beds were really comfortable, and I got two perfect night's sleep. I would definitely stay again if I am in Whitby, and can recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
